Hello girls, I wonder if any of my new-friends are still posting around here...I know I went AWOL, I just couldnt face coming along here, I am so sorry!
Its been a tough few months with a lot of pain and Im afraid if I dont have anything sparkly to say I find it difficult to say anything at all. My blog watchers will have noticed my absence from there too...again I am sorry, I do feel like I took then failed to give back.
But I am back...and can now be found in the chemo for June threads, as that is where I am heading on this journey now. Believe it or not, I feel really upbeat and positive about this as at last I feel that I will be getting treatment that will get to every nook and cranny. Im fed up with them finding new spots but only zapping here and there. They hoped the hormone therapy would do the trick, but it simply didnt work for me...so now for the big guns...yay! I start chemo on the 22nd June....I delayed as I have my eldest sons wedding on the 11th which I am bursting with excitement about!
It has only been about a month now that I have been rid of all that pain I had in the beginning when I was chatting with you girls...I can even walk around the house without the stick - I didnt think I would ever do that again! The radiotherapy thankfully did work on the largest mass - killing it off with signs of healing on the bone. However, it took a good 6 months for that pain to subside, so I say to anyone who has radiotherapy and is wondering where that promised pain relief is...dont give up hope, it may be just around the corner.
Despite my absense I do think about you girls and I wonder how you are all getting along? It was definitely time to come along and sprinkle lots of sparkles around! They took their time but they worked their magic for me in the end...yay! I hope they have been working for you too!
Who knows, I might get around to updating my blooming blog soon, and add the one or two projects that I have managed to achieve...my crafting mojo has abandoned me, but funnily enough...NOT the ability to add to my stash lol!
Wishing you all well and sending oodles of hugs and sparkles across the pond!

Sue,
I'm so glad to have your update, and sorry for all of the hard times. Are you still popping by? How is your chemo going?
Sparkles,

Hi Sue,
I just now came across your post from back in June and was so happy to see it! I've checked your blog several times but no entries there for some time. So sorry for all you've been going through but so glad and relieved to see that you're getting around so much better! Hope you're doing okay with the chemo and hope you're having minimal side effects. Keep the faith - "see" you here soon, hopefully!
Hugs and sparkles, Veda
