Thanks Kath! Just got home from my checkup. My Onc thinks all is well!
-
A massive hug all round from me - I know all you love my English accent and charm!
Seriously, I hope everyone has a good week, thinking of you all. My wife is starting Taxol this week, so 12 more weeks of chemo to go, well with a three week break for baby to be born. Just like all of you she is being so brave.
Hugs and prayers

Luv, glad to hear your checkup went well! Isn't that a wonderful feeling?
-
Luv, I'm so happy for you! Doin the happy dance, yahoo
-
breastcancerhusband, thinking of you and your wife, lots of positive thoughts and an extra big hug.
-
Greenae - My tumor was just over 6 cm, which seems huge, I know! As soon as I started chemo, it started shrinking. By the time I had my BMX (about 10 days post final chemo) there was no evidence of disease in my breast tissue or my lymph nodes. I had a complete pathological response. I'm 4-1/2 years out from diagnosis. Just know, that no matter what they find, you can do this. I think you need to tell them to quit poking and proding and get to treating! Hopefully you will have answers soon.
Hugs,
Kathy

Simple, yes it is a good feeling!
Shari, that pic is awesome! It actually looks exactly like one of my dobies, Hercules. Haha!
Breastcancerhusband, hugs to you and your wife! Let us know how she does.

Ksteve, Thank you for your encouragement! My MRI biopsy is tomorrow. I was going to call the radiologist today to ask how my 1cm became 6cm...but I decided I will just forget about it for today, and see what tomorrow's biopsy shows. I will take some xanax, and hopefully, behave As I get poked. Just want this pre-game show over!
My hugs and prayers to all of you this week....I thank you so much for being here with me.

Luvmydobies all ok with my check up too. So glad yours went well.
Breastcancerhusband thinking of your wife with the Taxol and hope all goes well. Do you know if baby will be a girl or boy.
Shari beautiful dog. She looks gorgeous in pink. Is she one of your babies.
Arlene in your pocket for tomorrow and wishing nothing but good news for you.
-
WooHoo Cocker!!
-
Cocker, YAHOO! So happy you had a good check up! I have a fur baby but she's only a 10 pounder! My Dad loved Dobes and had a female and then her offspring. I have such great memories of growing up and sitting around the dinner table begging my Dad to tell me stories of his Dobermans-seemed like they were always doing something funny and amusing! I know my love of dogs comes from him and am so grateful.
Arlene you better be wearing big pockets -we are all jumping in to be with you and promise to be still during your MRI! Hope someone is bringing drinks!
This morning on my way home I was driving on a road I normally take, it is a typical rural road with just a few houses on one end. There is an area that is swampy in the summer so it is clear of trees and I happened to look that way because it was so sunny and I saw four beautiful female (young I think) deer looking at me. The sight was so beautiful it took my breath away. I usually carry my camera, but not this morning. I'm going to take this as a positive sign!! Love to all, Shari
-
I am so happy to hear good results are coming in! Augie sends his love, too! I am headed out in about 90 minutes...woohoo, let the xanax be in charge! lol

Such cute pups here!! (none in my home, - but we do have rescue kitties! )
I am thrilled for those good reports that some of you are posting about, - and I am holding hands with you going for tests and biopsies!!
Greenae, - hope your biopsy is quick and you come home to RELAX.
Hugs to all!
-
HI All I am home. Looks like a 7mm mass with a 4cm narrow track posteriorly. Radiologist will recommend lumpectomy. No chest wall involvement. WHEW WHEW WHEW!!!! Feel so much better. Am so relieved. Have tears in my eyes now because you have all been such help and inspiration. I can and will DO THIS! Thank you! Going to get my ice packs, and God Bless the inventor of xanax...lol

-
Greenae= YEAH YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!So happy for you!!!
-
Arlene so glad you are relieved!! WooHoo! This is truly the best news of the day!!! Augie is absolutely adorable!
Shari, doberman's are very silly and entertaining! They are the most affectionate breed I've ever owned. We have three and I'm hooked. They have helped me thru so many dark days, it's unbelievable! I'm praying for you for tomorrow. We will all be with you. Don't forget!
-
just one slice? Lol go for it girl!
-
Thank you Luvmydobies! I'm wearing big pockets again. after all this waiting, I'm ready to know! Still in a surreal state. My apt isn't till late afternoon, so I'm going for a restorative yoga, nice and relaxing! Then I get to drive 2 hours in a probable snowstorm :-/. Hubby will meet me there and drive us home.
My Dad use to tell me 'Lady' his first dobe would love to hunt mice at my uncles farm. She would stand cocking her head and then pounce with both front legs straight on an area and get the mouse. If I had the room I would definitely get one to experience the personality- he said the same thing as you about them having a sense of humour!
-
