I Come to the Garden...

Here's one of my favorite songs ladies and a song I thought of for PauldingMom.....
He is the fountain for a thirsty soul
He is the healer and so much more
When my heart is broken by this world's demands
The pieces are mended through one scarred hand
Chorus
And when I can't stand, I have to lean
And when I can't see, I must believe
The Great Physician's touch is a balm that can
Mend broken hearts with one scarred hand
It's a hand that holds this whole world in place
It's a hand that was scarred just to give me grace
And to think a hand that holds the stars
Is small enough to mend one broken heart
Chorus
The Great Physician's touch is a balm that can
Mend broken hearts with one scarred hand -
Beautiful, Karen.
Mary, I remember you mentioning the chaplain. I had contacted the chaplain service at the naval hospital, but they never got back to me. My life has been spinning since all this started, and I can't remember half of what I've said or heard. I am sorry I forgot to give you credit fo rthe suggestion, too.
Matt was in the Naval Hospital, but is out right now. I went on the neurologist's website and he seems to be leaning to a more natural way of dealing with medical issues. He encourages a "plant based" diet as treatment for brain disorders.

This handsome gentleman loves rose gardens too---for lunch. He is magnificent though.

-
As much as I love seeing them, I do believe I would not want to be watching him indulge in my garden.
-
Meece, I wouldn't have thought Matt would automatically need heart surgery! Wouldn't it depend on where the clot came from? The neurgologist sounds like a dink. IMHO of course....

GOD IS SO GOOD 1. God is so good, God is so good,God is so good, God's so good to me. 2. God cares for me, God cares for me, God cares for me, God's so good to me. 3. God loves me so, God loves me so, God loves me so, God's so good to me. 4. God is so good, God is so good, God is so good, God's so good to me.

God is Good
Lisa has received great news today. The FDA approved the drug she wanted to be on, and she will be getting it.
I waited patiently for the Lord, and He inclined to me, and He heard my cries~Psalm 40:1

I am asking for prayer for my self for something that I need to make a decision about this weekend. I will tell you more later, but please pray that God will make His will known to me and I will be wise in my answer.

Back from my F/U from my onc. Although she is not too concerned and wants to see me in 4 months to repeat blood work.
My Vit D is 25.5 which is low, normal rangs is 30-100 ng/ml
CEA test is 1.4, normal range is
.0 CA 15-3 is 30.3, normal range is 0-31.3
and here is the scary one: CA 27.29 test is 45.9, normal is 0.0-38.6

She said that she is not concerned because my other tests are in the normal range. So I have to do it again in March.
I called my PCP and had my Xanax renewed. Hopefully it will calm me down.

Meece, Praise God that you have the faith to ask for His guidance.
And Lisa-it is well, in my soul, knowing you have been so blessed! Here's to FDA approval & amazing results!

It's times like this that I wish that I could make all of those little graphics, with the hearts and music notes and other do-dads.
We are now safely back in our living room from a quick hop to Kentucky. I am so grateful for a safe trip, filled with enthusiastic participants and support from a wonderful organization.

Not avoiding the group but my daughter, her partner and their kids are here from Maine for a week. I'll try to get more involved after they are gone back. I'm not used to kids who are so, umm, busy!
I am continuing to pray for all of you who are going through additional needs besides what we all deal with in breast cancer. I pray for all of you every day for all things.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday with loved ones and friends. I'm doing ok. A-C behind me now and had my 2nd Taxol last Thursday and so far it is going good with no SE's other then tiredness and a bitter/sour taste in my mouth and not enjoying any thing I eat. It all tastes like something Granny Clampitt would have fixed up, Swamp Surprise. I've not been online so hoping things are going in the right direction with Paulding. Always in my thoughts and prayers ((((PM)))).
