I Come to the Garden...

Me too!
Juanita, 3jaysmom said it perfectly-my heart breaks everytime I hear of someone having to lose a beloved pet. It's hard!
-
Poor puppy. She knows she has been loved. I have always whispered in my fur babies ears when they were ill that they had done a good job and it was time for them to rest. I know how hard they want to please.
-
Had to post this. A dear friend sent it to me today. I can't get the "junk" out of the e-mail, so please disregard it - and just enjoy the wonder of the picture.

GOD PARTING THE SKY
This was too cool not to pass on. What an incredible picture.
Photo taken in Alabama ~
Bob Frew sent this out.
"I took this picture on Int.20, traveling to Leeds , AL . It has given me strength in the times of trouble. I feel I should share it with the rest of the world. I hope it is an inspiration to you. It just goes to show what we already know...We have a God, and he's watching over us.
I e-mailed this picture to News Channel Fox 6. I was contacted by Meteorologist James Spann. He said that this picture of the sky is showing up in all states and around the world. He wanted to know where I was from and where I took it. He saw a similar picture taken in Texas. He said this is amazing to him.
Would you look at this picture? It reminds me of that song 'He's got the whole world in his hands.' He is definitely in control. I needed this today more than ever.. Enjoy and pass it along!" -
My deleted post was a glorious picture someone sent me today that I so wanted to share with you - but it didn't work - dang!

Juanita, I'm so sorry about the lab. We had to put our beloved Shadow of 11 years down about two and 1/2 years ago. She was a black lab. Pets don't want anything but love, unlike many other "people" in our lives. We have 2 black labs now, both female. We love them like our children.

I love reading all the lyrics, poems & special words of all you gals. I have printed off several to keep, so I thank you for sharing.
faithie ~ So sorry about your DD falling, I hope she is doing much better. What a wonderful surprise to have your SIL home early!
Meecie ~ I am so happy your dear Matt is out of the hospital.
3jays ~ Yay! You got pictures to post! I know, I'm a bit behind in all the above postings. What a beautiful family!
GraceOkinawa ~ So very nice to see you again.
I just had my yearly mamm & I was praying more than usual & then I remembered HE is always with me, sometimes I fall behind & I forget. Hope I'm making sense.....

Our son did have Maggie put to sleep yesterday morning. She had not eaten again the night before and yesterday morning she tried to squat to potty and fell and wet herself and looked up at him with pleading eyes of not understanding what was going on with her. We are heartbroken but she's now with our 3 that have gone to Rainbow Bridge. I've not talked to our son, just trying to give him some space. He'd had her since she was 5 1/2 weeks old.
Thank you all for your kind words. We are people who love our pets like our children and Maggie was my and Lynn's first "grandchild/dog."

Another furry angel added to the stars that watch over us at night.....
-
Juanita-Maggie was well loved; that's evident by your son's actions in not allowing any further suffering. Peace to you all-losing animal family is in some cases harder than losing people family.

Matt went to hte Neurologist today. He asked about the heart surgery, and the doctor said that they won't do anything for his heart at this point. They'll wait until he has another stroke. Can you believe this???
I lift it to God and release it, and must release my frustration. and anger at this dr.
-
Meece..Isn't that up to the Cardiologist to decide?
-
He doesn't want to get a cardiologist on the case.
-
Matt or the Neurologist?
-
The nuerologist

Time to get off Okinawa and find a competent doctor!!!!!!!!! My husband tried calling while I was visiting my Dad, but he couldn't figure out how to dial the phone! He is going to call tomorrow evening. Praying.
-
Thank you. Paulding Mom gave me good advice today and sugested we get the Base chaplain involved. I would be much more comfortable and happy if they would just let him see a cardiologist. I see mine on Thursday and they(My PA and Card) already said they'd help me research what his options are if I can get the basic dx about his heart. Matt is considering requesting a hardship transfer to the mainland USA. I keep praying that God has great things planned ofr my little boy. I am excited where God takes him.
-
PauldingMom is in her last week of radiation, 3 more to go. She is reading the posts, but not posting much. Computer viewing is difficult. Let's surround her with prayers as she completes this stage of her tx.

JO-5, have you finished arimidex yet? I was over 90% er/pr and all my docs said arimidex is ideal for me. I am doing OK on it just the usual aches.
-
DUH do the math Deb, LOL.
-
Meece, I thought Matt was in a military hospital. That is why I suggested the military chaplain. They have the ability to do lots more than you can imagine.
