Sarah Palin Coming to Hamilton for Cancer Centre Fundraiser

Stocking hats!!! I haven't seen those for ages!!!
-
Thanks alot.
Every time I now see a pom pom, I'm gonna think of tea bags.
LOL.
-
Most of the fashionable younger ones in Ottawa wear really nice hand-knit knit hats with pom-poms imported from I think Chile. Nothing Canadian about them.
-
Yep, Madalyn. We've been cheering you on but, hey. Sitting on the couch, drinking wine, and scratching ourselves is the best we can manage.
-
And if you think of teabags you'll think of...
-
I didn't even know there was a Canadian section at breastcancer.org until I saw the words "Sarah Palin" and thought, what the hey? So please tell me that even though the event was cancelled that she will still be going to Canada, cause it would be nice if she took her blather somewhere else for even a few hours.
Sorry, I do love you guys. I'm feeling Canadian tonight with our two feet of snow (very unusual for DC).
-
Madalyn, sorry you're feeling left out of the great blizzard of 2009. If it's any comfort, I'm not in Michigan at the moment - I'm in Brooklyn. It's quite something to see people on cross country skis on city streets.
-
Those damn Canadians are encouraging perversion.
Tea bags.
Kiwis.
Pom poms.
-
This is where we plot a NA Union take-over via universal healthcare.
-
Hey Lewing: How much snow in NYC?
-
And everyone will have to wear a Roots t-shirt as well......and wear Lou Lou Lemon yoga wear.....lots of Canadian labels.
-
ROFL!! Okay you women rock!! I just got back from a nice dinner, and I have 2 pages of comments on this thread.
I am SOOOOO glad I had coffee instead of tea after my meal.
Mind you, I have never liked teabag(ging).
Member, hang around here more often.
Elizabeth, LOL on the NA take over!!
Edited: trying to edit the italics...why does that happen!!!????
-
And play football by CFL rules! Hi HRF! Hi Mary!
-
Roots I know. Lou Lou Lemon is a new one.
-
Can I substitute hockey for CFL?
-
I knew it. There's a plot by the Canadians to take over the U.S. First, they start with pom poms. Then they impose their socialist tendencies on our health care system. No longer will we have the right to die with dignity, unafraid of facing illness with no medical care.
They're going to turn us into whimps who believe we are actually entitled to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. That's un-American!
-
You used the "entitled" word. Get a job!
-
Are Smarties much different from M&Ms?
-
Nah, they'll never accept CFL rules, anything before that.
-
Which is probably why we can't find them here. We don't need no steenking socialist candy.
-
OMG! The shame of it. I used the E word. I'm so humiliated!
-
LOL....enjoyful, you're on a roll-- (not toilet paper again!!)
MMMM smarties!
-
See that? The Canadians are infiltrating our grocery stores!
LOL@Mary....on a (toilet paper) roll....
-
We are taking over....cue in scary music.
glad you liked it enjoyful
-
I've missed Canadian chocolate -- can't walk by a crispy crunch without grabbing one. AND, 2 of the most loved American icons -- Regis and Kelly are flogging the TD Bank -- A.k.a. the Toronto Dominion Bank! It's already infiltrated your financial system. Muahahahahahahaaaa, eh!
-
Um, Madalyn. Americans lost their minds years ago. Which, of course, makes mindwashing us impossible.
-
You import our water too (At least I think you do...). Ha -- what's in the water? A bit of Canadian maple syrup, or poutine?
-
Poutine! My daughter loves it and tries to make it at home.
-
Poutine? I'm so provincial.
-
I think a lot of bottled water comes from Guelph, doesn't it?
My Canadian bf and I went to a Japanese restaurant down here and he ordered a Japanese beer. Got the beer, read the label....bottled in GUELPH! LOL....maybe Canadians are taking over, one beer brand at a time.
