Nooooo!!! I'll show her the way home! OK, am I the only one who knows the phrase "tea bagging" in another, very different context? I have to smile everytime I see it used -- I was taken aback when I first saw it here then realized...oh...
-
No no no!!!!!!!!
I know exactly what it means in another context.
Which is why I use the phrase whenever possible!!!!!!!!!
LMAO!
-
-
Uh oh. Blank look here. Someone PM me?
Laynel - Thanks for the wake-up slap. I think I'll hang out here. :-)
-
I will I will!!
Edit: Haha -- a teabag kinda slap. Baaad girl.
-
Do you think the people who call themselves 'tea baggers' actually know what it means?
-
-
LOL!!!
-
Oh jeez Elizabeth...lol.
-
A teabag kinda slap.
I'm sure I can find a lot of uses for that phrase.
Hanging out in Canada land is certainly educational!
-
Hey, I learnt the term from my b/f in Boston. Not very attractive -- I envision squished, wet, cold teabags, not that the actual thingies are that attractive.... I giggle when I make tea now. Of course I giggle when I see 2 kiwis in a plastic grocery bag. Add a banana and I'm rolling on the floor...
-
Oh, I'm a socialist anti-teabag commie canuck. Sorry.
-
Quite. I thought it a thorough analysis.
-
Do you know Bob and Doug McKenzie? They were mellow Canadians, just chilling in their touques. Now that is an appearance Canadians would pay for!!
-
Oh Elizabeth.....now I'm rolling on the floor! LOL
-
Touques? Translation, please.
Nothing like lots of wine and stimulating, intellectual conversation!
Um, Konakat. I'm sure you're also anti-Christian. Cuz everyone knows that Christ was a Capitalist! None of that caring about the lazy poor crap.
-
Yur hosin' me PIP, ya hoser!
-
You don't know what a touque is? The knit winter hat that has 3 small points at the top. Points are aligned front to back. Gee, might have to take back your honourary Canuck status Rico!
-
We have so much to teach our American sisters. But they must promise not to tell the others until our socialism has taken over their country too!!
Touques are just knitted hats. I don't know what you call them, but you do wear them in the USA.
-
I have to go to bed now. I work tomorrow and I have a tummy ache from eating too many of those devilish white chocolate lindts. Well worth it though. I might just have one more before I retire!
-
I think we call them knitted hats. We're not very creative.
We will keep the secrets of your country - the touques and tea bags - safe until then.
-
Oh dear, did get off topic a bit. But it was fun!!
-
But but but I looked it up on the Internet and....
I own one!!! And I wear it to work on cold mornings.
Do I get to be Canadian again?
Please please?
I wanna be a Socialist!
-
Well, this thread is where the action is tonight; I saw it had jumped up to the top of the "active" list, so I clicked on it just to see what was up. Thanks for the laughs! I know I'll never be able to look at a kiwi again without giggling.
-
I made a boo-boo and thought it was Layne not understanding what a touque is. It was Rico -- now we have proof she isn't Canadian (re. other thread..) hehehe.
-
Yah, we can say anything. Ya know, it's so cold up here, nothing to do, so we tease each other mercilessly for enterainment.
-
I felt very Canadian tonight as I trudged home through the blizzard, fur collar turned up and a knitted cap (the kind with ear flaps and little dangly pom poms) on my head.
-
Do Canadians wear dangly pom poms?
-
Are they anything like tea bags?
-
Some of us wear dangle pom-poms. More often the non-tea-bag set, kinda girly. If a pom pom is involved it is a big poofy one.
