Please think good thoughts for me on Monday morning, as I'm having a bone scan & blood work for tumor markers. I think it's going to be a long night.
-
mfrog ~ I'm off to bed but saw your post. I will be thinking of you tomorrow & am sending out many positive vibes for a b9 bone scan & a normal range blood work-up esp those TM's. I know exactly what you are feeling at this moment & I will be there with you. Please keep us posted - do you know when you will receive the results yet?
Try to breathe slowly & deeply.....

I'm finally home, it take a bit longer because I have to catch a ferry. It went much better than expected, I ended up taking the 2nd one. The technician was fabuolous & was happy to work with me til I was comfortable. I still feel a bit lightheaded but will be fine.
Now I just have to sit on pins & needles til I get the results, don't know how long that will take.
Thanks all.
-
thank you for the warm welcome ladies and the hug
I am a bit of a basket case tonight getting my results tomorrow to see if the cancer has spread to the lymph nodes I am definetly taking a sleeping pill tonight ( maybe wash it down with a glass of wine lol ) and just getting through the day until 330.
On a positive note I didnt cry today, first day in almost 3 weeks. I still have numbness in my armpit from the surgery is this normal?

Kymn - The numbness is normal and may be around for a long time. I had a SNB in Aug and my arm is still numb - surgeon told me it could be that way up to a year or longer. Had a friend who had lymph nodes removed 16 years ago and hers is still a bit numb.
Wishing B9 results tomorrow.
-
mfrog...Glad you are home safely and yes the waiting sucks. Hopefully you hear from them before the weekend.
HUGS and Good Night
♥
-
Kymn....Wishing B9 results.
Of course you are a basket case otherwise you wouldn't be normal.
We all waiting sister.
