CALLING ALL STAGE I SISTERS

Sheila - As long as you are happy with your decision that is all that matters. We are all here to support you no matter what.
-
Yes Sheila, jo1955 speaks with wisdom! Besides-you'd miss AI in Turkey most likely-they are probably just now seeing season 7!
-
Sheila - I am hungry for dessert and I found this for us.
-
Oh jo
I used to make Baklava and taught my girls how to make it.
-
Sheila - Takes me back to the wonderful bakeries in Izmir. I had a favorite one I used to go to and they would have a small box of six pieces ready for me every Friday. I did not even have to order it. I was so spoiled.
-
I miss the food. Did you ever had KAYMAK that delicous unhealthy think you put it on the desserts?
-
Yes - But is was soo good. I am not really a bread eater, but what I wouldn't do for a fresh hot loaf of EKMEK. It made good french toast, and we used to cut it in half lenghtwise and make pizza out of it. Found lots of ways to eat it.

GOOD NIGHT
-
Geez, I had 6 pages to catch up on - you ladies do a LOT of talking.
Sheila - I am glad you have made the right decision for you.
(((Jo))) - fingers crossed for good results Friday.
Hi Val - life seems to be trucking along smoothly for you at the moment - long may it last!!!
(((granny))) and (((3 jays))) (((everyone else who needs one)))
-
-
I am with Rae, whoa 6 pages to catch up on! You ladies like to chat!!!
Sheila I am so happy that you made the right decision for you. Only you know what makes you hesitant about going back to Turkey. Sheila I send prayers for your Aunt and your family. May she have peace and mercy and no pain from our heavenly father.
Jo - I had something show up just before Christmas on a chest x-ray and my radiation onco ordered a chest CT and I had the dye and scan. Luckily I didn't have to wait but about 36 hrs since I was scheduled for surgery in a few days. Without all the ladies here on the board I would have been a basket case. I hate that you are having to wait. I am praying for you and holding your hand for B9 results along with all the other ladies here.
Val- I can't believe I keep missing you and Michelle. One of these days I'll catch up with you both.
-
-
Mimi - The waiting is the worst that and I want the pain to go away. It has be 26 days now. Thanks for the prayers. I do have work and my quilting to distract me this week. Will make myself keep busy until Friday.
deborye - The pic is so cute and sends a great message. Amen!
-
Where is everybody??????????????
((((HUGS))))
-
Sheila - I'm here.
-
Thanks jo.♥
-
This thread has been really quiet all weekend. Everyone must be out doing stuff.
-
I'm home.
-
Hi all, just checking the boards before finding something for a light supper.
-
Im having melted cheddar on a slice of bread.
-
Hi Im Kymn,Ii am 41 and was diagnosed 2 weeks ago, lumpectomy last tuesday awaiting results
as you all know waiting really really really sucks. not feeling over chatty tonight but wanted to introduce myself as I am sure I will be walking the walk with you girls (unfortunetly) you know what I mean. Look forward to getting to know you all
-
After introducing myself I dropped off the planet for a few days, we started a bathroom reno!
Nothing like ripping & tearing out tile & drywall to take your mind off things.
Sheila, sorry that you had to make such a difficult decision.
cheers, Dee
-
Just returned from a celebratory supper with my sweetie. We celebrated an anniversary on Friday and my birthday tomorrow. It was soooo nice to be dressed up, out and enjoy a nice meal and some wine and not think about appointments or cancer or rads, or boo boos. There really is a great life after all of this!
take good care and just breathe. . .
