Valjean - I'll counter back with Let's Go Stars. 1st time in the playoffs since 2008. They looked superb last night but then St. Louis was playing very hurt.
Like the header too Eli. Don't they look like they are having a good time. Think they were affluent for the times. Like their pocketbooks and shoes. Look likes ones I would wear.
Not that it's good to see lots of new BC but welcome here. We are a fun bunch but serious when needed. FN - enjoy those hockey games. I've been to 3 Dallas Stars games.
-
Looks 40s with those giant shoulder pads. Typing that I found myself missing Athena, the lioness.
-
getting drunk in Montreal!! Love u guys!!
-
FBN - we need a like button on here :-)
-
FUCK CANCER!! can I say that? Too late. I already did!!! Whoop!!!! You are all here with me in la cage aux sports before the Montreal Canadians vs New York ranger game
:-)
-
So we are getting ready to enter Easter week. Shouldn't that call for some goodies so we can try to hit that 1000th page soon.?
-
live from Montreal it's hockey time!!!!!
-
yeah thats just under a thousand pages, so lets all come here and finish it off with a bang! a thosand i mean
-
FBN, great photo! Have fun tonight!
-
THis is my fav chocolate malted easter eggs!
-
Me too, lovewins! I have some on hand already and got into the bag earlier today!!! Will not eat the blue ones, so it's funny that your picture did not include that color. You must be reading my mind.
I used to like the Russel Stover NESTS (milk choc. & toasted coconut) but, honestly, I am still reeling from a few years ago when they cheaped out and left off the 3-4 little jelly bean eggs that used to be in the nest. It's just a sad little eggless chocolate nest now.
-
Oh how I remember Hockey Night In Canada, F-nut!
-
Yummy!!!!
-
Hope you totally enjoyed the Rangers game, FBN. Bet ya did!! I have been to two Red Wings games & a few college hockey games as well. Lots of fun!
luvmygoats~ Yeah, we've had some tough games against you guys.
My Wings have made the playoffs for the 23rd straight year. But I don't think they'll make it past the first round. Boston is very good, they didn't win the President's Trophy for nothing!
And now that I've thoroughly bored all the listeners here with hockey talk about which they could care less, I'll leave for the night!
-
-
FBN, have fun! There is no better place than Montreal for getting drunk.
-
Me and my peeps.........
-
Sunday morning and rain in Montreal. Fans were great last night. I of course I knocked over my beer before the game started. I well!! Lol. It's Montreal hockey!! Lol
I chatted with a fellow who sat beside me most of the night and shared my situation. Before we left he said " the world needs more people like you". Such kindness from a stranger. I walked out of there feeling pretty good despite the 1-0 loss but that's ok
My rangers and pens are in the playoffs!
Gonna walk around the city and see a good friend for dinner.
Life is great! Sure I'm scared but I feel so good and healthy despite the slight hangover. Slight!! Lol
No more swearing! Promise!!
:-)
-
Loral, your pic didn't show up!! I wanna see!!!!
-
Elimar...I love nests too I forgot about the jelly beans! I'll take your blue ones!
FBN Glad you are having a great time loved your picture.
Eph3.... Mmmmm.
Loral cute cupcakes.
Harvey
Happy Spring everyone....Well to continue with the Easter theme, one of my favorite movies,,,well it has a rabbit in it!
Elwood P. Dowd: Well, I've wrestled with reality for 35 years, Doctor, and I'm happy to state I finally won out over it.
Elwood P. Dowd: Years ago, my mother used to say to me, she'd say "In this world, Elwood, you can be oh so so smart, or oh so pleasant." Well, for years I was smart... I recommend pleasant. You may quote me.
-
Welcome to the new ladies, glad you found your way here! Your attitudes rock and that will help you so much!
I loved that movie "Harvey". In fact, I loved everything Jimmy Stewart was ever in - you never got the feeling he was acting. Not sure many of them can quite pull that off these days.
My favorite Easter treat - which I don't think I've had since I was a kid - although I took a nip or two from my son's:
-
heartandsoul...can you see my pictures? I can't see them?
-
Lovewins - don't know about HNS but I can't see them. Nor Loral's either. Can see HNS's bunnies missing parts of their anatomies. This seems to be a recent problem. I get a funny box on Loral's but on your's Lovewins I get just the Elwood P Dowd in blue. I've noticed the box happening more and more and others seem to see the pic.
-
Hmmmm I can see Lorals but I can't see mine but when I try to edit I see them. Weird. Oh well...upward and onward!
-
what a way to fake us out. I can see my pics sometimes and no one else can. I cannot just copy and paste, have to go thru the process of uploading from my file.
So you know how I am on a strict diet, guess what I won at a raffle on saturday? A big old easter basket filled with candy and other treats. lol
I had to give it away.
so virtual treats it is.
-
All that candy! Bring it on, would rather enjoy viewing than eating. No, not true exactly, but so many less calories that way.
-
Think of jelly beans as coagulated sugar and it takes a bit of the glamour out...
-
Barbe, why? lol Actually I'm not a candy lover...I'm a bread girl. I'll combine the tastes for my pineapple stuffing on Sunday. It's one of my very favorite things. I've modified the original recipe over the years to use less sugar and Smart Balance instead of butter and it still makes me drool just thinking about it! I'll only eat ham if I have that as a side
-
pineapple stuffing? Have never heard of it before, but it sounds really yummy! Easy to make?
-
Never heard of pineapple stuffing either - may have to look into that. Sounds delish
