At this point, I can probably throw anything into the mix. It just a bonus if it has a nice glow to it.
-
Uh-oh! Things are starting to look fuzzy.

800 pages of Fun, Facts and Friends!

Thanks for the comp staynsane! Jim can't find me in cosco anymore unless he remembers what head gear (or not) I'm wearing! Lololol xoxox Jo -
Nice picture, I love my big sunglasses too......

Can't post pics with my iPad, but picture my boy George carrying a tray of drinks to us while we lounge at a pool in Hawaii. Once he delivers all our favorite libations, he offers to give back rubs to anyone feeling a little tense... like say they just had chemo this week or something. And he offered to clean up once we're all done. Man I love our cyber parties!!!
-
O Marlegal I'm goin' where you're going. Party on.
-
That fruit looks good. I can't have fruit with skins on them right now. Marlegal, can I get Clooney to peel me a grape?
Posted on Mar's behalf.............

woohoo 800 pages!!!!!!!!!!!!
Too much going on with inlaws these days. MIL had surgery today. Amputated two toes down to the first knuckle she has had bad feet for so long. Hopefully she will be able to walk without pain for the first time in I don't know how many years. FIL ended up in the Hospital Sunday with a very bad bladder infection. He has needed to go to the nursing home for a very long time he is 90, but my 85 year old MIL would not have it. Doctor could not talk her into it. Well now he is going after the hospital. Guess we will see if it is permanant or not. I was supprised that MIL was actually for it this time. I think she is looking forward to healing at home without having to be responsible for him. She actually told the nurses at the hospital to take the phone out of his room so he could not call her at night and beg to go home. That is like major for her. My kids were like Grandma really, they could not believe she actually did that.
-
So much going on here it's hard to keep track!
All the party favors are awesome, but the food makes me wish I could taste something. Oh, and George Clooney....
On a good note, woke up late for work and didn't have to fix my hair!
Hope everyone is well - to bed early and hoping for sleep for me.
-
Thanks for the pic Eli, never tire of seeing that man! He called me a little while ago to apologize for not having a spare shirt to put on after I accidentally spilled my cocktail sauce on the sleeve of that black one. I told him on behalf of all of us that we didn't mind him walking around bare chested most of the day. I mean, once he had to ditch his pants after I accidentally raninto them with my scissors, it really was silly to keep the shirt
Sherry,so sorry you have to deal with the in-law issues too. Reminds me of a saying I heard years ago, along the lines of ... What was God thinking when he hit us with teenage children, aging parents and menopause all at the same time?
Hugs to all ... we've passed the midway of the week, I can see Friday from here -
marlegal - I am calling today my Thriday - Thurs/Fri all in one as I have tomorrow off. Yaay!
Wishing everyone a great day!
-
Jo and Marlegal- Thanks for the morning chuckles!
-
Dianarose-
Where are you? Just taking a break I hope...
-
Marlegal, That was HILARIOUS!
-
I think Dianarose has flown away to visit her daughter and grandbaby
Marlegal, George is always a good time isn't he? Gotta love George at a party!
Sherry - My mother is 86 and we are having such a difficult time with her. This is a really hard time of life for the "kids". A few weeks ago she called 911 in the middle of the night and got them to take her to the hospital by saying her "knee hurts" and that it caused her to fall. She was trying to get them to say, "Oh, you need joint replacement surgery." She's always been sneaky like that, so not out of character. Instead, she got a lot more than she bargained for. They decided she wasn't making sense and since her blood pressure was high they ran a bunch of tests looking for signs of a stroke. Then, they kept her for so long she got weak and they decided she needed rehab and sent her somewhere else. My mother was screaming and cussing at us to get her out of there, but our hands were tied. I said, "Mama, you did this to yourself."
I was pushing her in a wheelchair down the hall at the rehab, looking at the back of her little blonde head while she was cussing like a sailor. I told my brother about what a nightmare visit that was and he said, "Should we call them and ask them if they perform exorcisms?" Haha, well... you gotta laugh when you can!
-
HNS-
sorry about your Mom. Yes, take the laughs from where & when you can get them!
-
Awwww HNS......a nightmare for sure....did any results come back indicating a little stroke! I live for humor or I'll not stop crying.....nice humor not mean! Xoxox. Jo
-
HNS - not the type of visit we hope for huh? I agree that the humour and laughter needs to be taken advantage of at every opportunity. Without it we would surely crumble.
-
ladies in Boston, so sorry about what has happened in your hometown. Two nutbars doing so much damage. So sad. Hope they get the one who is still on the run before he can do any more destruction. Stay safe
Imagine all the people living life in peace,
you may say I am a dreamer,
but I am not the only one.
I hope some day you'll join us and the world will be as one
Love this song. and it has so much insight
-
Ossa, perfect timing with those lyrics. John was quite the guy!
