Will start tomorrow 8 am

I took the liberty of inserting Jennifers name. sheila-----------pray as much for Jennifer as you can, we wish for a miracle. But we can help her passing if that is the plan of God. I believe that the Archangels at this point are her protectors. If she were to have a turnaround, our joy would beyond comprhension. Each of the Archangels take care of a specific piece. St. Micheal--the devil-------even in a patients deep sleep or coma the devil tries to seek his way. Rahpeal seeks healing to go into God's dwelling. Gabriel seeks the help of Mary. Jennifer from day one did not have a good prognosis. Let us pray as we can for whatever outcome. We can always pray for a miricale. I'm going to go get the Namaste prayer from the archives and add it here. L&H&P's

Their is a nurse Karla on the Nurses thread who described that when she was on a trek in the Himalayas. She would observe the Sherpas greeting each other with hands as folded in prayer. Their greeting was Namaste. She asked for a translation. They told her it meant "I SALUTE THE GOD WITHIN YOU" After hearing that story, it so gripped me, within the deep soul of me. The strength of the statement in analysis goes to the heart of our belief in God. For if we believe that this statement regarding God-- being within each person. Then he is a part of our being. If that be true, then we are each joined together with him, and therfore we are each apart of each other. So, what happens to the one, happens to all. Yes Paula, thank you for reminding me. A periodic telling of the story helps my forgetful mind. Namaste Sheila

Welcome to all our new sisters and prayers for all!! xo

Laura and Barb !! I'm so sorry! But I'm so happy you are ok. Car accidents are scary.
Hello everyone else.
Happy news? My youngest grandson, Liam, turns 5 tomorrow!!! We have a new bike hidden outside in the garage. :-) They grow up so fast. Other happy news; my SIL has started taking RCIA classes. He's never been baptised. Praise be to God!
Paula - thank you for your prayers for my teaching.
I can't remember if I shared that we have a cash contract on our Colonial Beach condo. We go to settlement in October. Kind of bittersweet, since it was my Mom's vacation condo. Lots of memories. It's time to let go and prepare for retirement. God's will be done.
Sheila - I am printing out the prayers and will do my best to say them at work ! You know how that goes!
Love begins at home, and it is not how much we do... but how much love we put in that action. - Mother Teresa

Theresa...happy birthday to Liam! and that is wonderful news about your SIL...I can imagine how wonderful that must be for all of you!
I'm sorry about having to sell your mom's vacation condo...that would be difficult.
Prayers for Jennifer!

Sas and everyone, thank you for that beautiful prayer for Jennifer. The hospice center called the family together today and told them she would probably not make it past two more days, if that long. Her breathing is so labored, and pain medicine keeps her comfortable. Her sister met with the funeral home that came over to the hospice place today and made arrangements...I think she is in the angry phase of grief right now, I mean, 20 years old and choosing a coffin for your 19 year old sister....You all are so right about the adversary trying to sneak in, I could see him seething from the gossip about each other in the crowd that gathered at the hospice.
Sweet Jesus, please be with Jennifer.

Our God in his wisdom, chooses the time and place of our demise. I would give up my life to save Jennifer's. A beginning life that we don't know what her difference may make. I have made my difference. That is why I said, I will take on her cancer. It's okay. I can die now. Jennifer has a full life to live. Let it be, pray for it. I'am not nuts. We can make a difference------------ the time is when ------------please, Jennifer has a whole lot of years if we can get a miracle. I will accept her cancer if that means that she lives. No heroics here. I love God and Mary, I know where I'm going .Pray please that I take on Jennifer's trial, AND that her mind be made whole. I ask you this with the greatest part of my being. She has so much to live for .

Jennifer is still with us, i promise you all I could see a warm light in her face....she still can smile. Her entire family is around her, her brother made it in from out of town, her sister, mother, father, step parents, son, grandparents are all with her. She has a lot of life in her, she still has some consciousness too, many tears will be shed when she leaves, but the heavens will open for God's child.
Praying for Michelle and her family too.
and that the ties that bind each of us, only be the tie that brought us together, and may that tie stay very far away.

Still praying for Jennifer

Jennifer passed away this morning. Thank you for all your prayers. We have all suffered with a cancer that has been researched and improvements made in treatment....she was a pioneer with such a rare brain cancer there wasn't much literature for the medical community. She was at a teaching hospital before she was transferred to the hospice facility. Perhaps more progress was made in the study of the cancer she had.
My grandfather had lung cancer in 1955 and underwent radiation then. How crude that must have been for him. When my aunt was describing what she remembered about his burns etc, I started to cry, so sad, that he couldn't have known he was a pioneer too so the medical community could get radiation where it is today for me. We can never think that there is no reason for what we suffer, someone will benefit as time moves on. At the Komen race I took a picture of a T-shirt, "We walk so our daughters don't have to."
Love you each for your thoughts and powerful prayers. Thank you Jesus for draping Jennifer in your love as Your light called her home. I praise You from the deepest part of my soul, for You are mighty and just and merciful. Her suffering is ended, her cancer is dead, but she lives in You forever.

Rest in eternal Peace Jennifer. May you be free of pain and suffering adn now only know the warmth and love of our wonderful Lord... also praying for her family that God gives them strength and peace.
-
May Jennifer be safe in the loving arms of God today. Bless her family as they struggle on without her. Love to all here. Mary
-
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God rest in peace.
May our dear Lord and our Blessed Mother wrap her family with their peace and comfort.
How appropriate on the Feast of Our Sorrowful Mother....
-
Amen.
Truly, I know all of our prayers, no matter how short or long, aided in her release from suffering and escorted her swiftly to the place we all yearn to be. SHE is there. Not a single thought passes through her now about what she's missing out on here on earth. Once you're there, you never want to come back here. Now the family needs help. Evil can no longer touch her, but evil can touch her family. God come to their aid in their time of sorrow.
No one's suffering is ever in vain.
Pax.
