Ladies...... I have been reading and praying along with you.... I feel so sorry for your loss and also for the pain in your hearts...
I also would like to ask for prayer for our MMM5..... Michelle. She had called my one day... about a month ago... and I called her back the next day I believe. I have not heard from her since and I do not see that she is posting here. Please join me in asking God for his guidance for her and her family... and for the peace in her heart... Thank you. xoxoxo
In Jesus name...

Theresa is there a Novena for married people?
-
For Michelle and all those here who may be burdened, Jesus give the peace in mind and body.

Michelle, mmm5, we love you and miss you, sending you our prayers and love!! xo

Prayers for mmm5.
-
continued prayers for each of you, always....
I went to Jennifer's viewing last night....I have never ever seen someone so young look like they are just sleeping in the coffin......She was so beautiful I wanted to take a picture....but I'll tell you instead:
Jennifer was wearing a beautiful wrap style cream dress, my cousin did her makeup so naturally and elegantly - she was surrounded by tool that was fluffed up like clouds. Her sister bought her a wig just like the long jet black hair she had, and on her head they placed a "crown" of baby's breath in cream tool. Around her lay green vines with white roses, and white baby roses. When I walked up to her, I smiled....I had a joy in my heart seeing how she look like an angel floating on a cloud, and knowing that her light will shine on in the hearts of many.
Your prayers are so appreciated, always.

Novena for strengthening marriage, home and family. Keep in mind that St. Joseph was Jesus' foster father. While you meditate on this Novena, remember this fact. That God Himself trusted Joseph to take care of His Beloved Son. This is a big deal when you pray this Novena. Have Faith!
NOVENA TO ST. JOSEPH
(pray for 9 days or 9 hours straight)
O Blessed Saint Joseph, tenderhearted father, faithful guardian of Jesus, chaste spouse of the Mother of God, I pray you to join with me in praising God the Father through his divine Son who died on the cross and rose again to give us sinners new life. Through the holy Name of Jesus, pray with me that we may obtain from the eternal Father the favor we ask for Michelle's urgent needs for her marriage, home and family. We have been unfaithful to the unfailing love of God the Father; beg of Jesus mercy for us his brothers and sisters. Amid the splendors of God's loving presence, do not forget the sorrows of those who weep. By your prayers and those of your most holy spouse, our blessed Lady, may the love of Jesus answer our call of confident hope. Amen
-
Gina - very beautiful. May Jennifer rest in peace and may her family be healed.
-
Gina beautiful Thank you
Theresa thank you-------how shall we proceed a 9 hour novena or a nine day novena? The original St Joseph Novena I transferred to the archives.? What do you suggest?

Friends I'm reposting this here----------it has implications for you and your childern. Many of you don't post where you might see this.
I'm re-postig this from another thread. tested hyperlink. There are implications , not just for us, but all women and childern males as well as females. Children being exposed to high levels of estrogen. Could explain why early onset puberty has been such a problem. AND newborns being born that have signs of going through puberty. I'm even more bummed that article was published in DEC 2006. It should have been a Public Health Warning issued from some agency. You noticed that at the end of the article they ,said they were going to lay low. It was fascinating that the Mongolians to empirically figure this out and have been doing it for 2 thousand years. That's HUGE.
TO ALL---read the below hyperlink.-----How it affects us is----Now we may have to make choices about milk.
Another thought the government has NOT dealt with the public impact of what this article identifies. Guess it's not politically correct.
I'm going to add the hyperlink here and re-post it on a couple of threads.

It's Friday at 9:18 pm --hope I can remember to come back at ten. no sleep for a couple days, sometime yesterday am, Yearly body pet clear. MRI of brain a little changed, meningioma 9.4 mm to 15 mm. Docs haven't seen reports yet. So don't know what hoop I'll be dancing through. Intentions please. I'm not excited etc. Bc just keeps us from enjoying our time for even a little bit without throwing another curve. This is the same right sided meningioma found at the same time as breast bx in jan 09. Incidental finding after I fell in a patient home and hit the left side of my head and had a MRI for symptoms related to left side. I've always said it was a good thing to have been found then b/c if found later they might get all excited trying to connect to BC. So, we have been in the Watchful Waiting Mode with serial MRI's since then. What our dear Lord 's plan is we don't know, but eventually it will be revealed. Until then life will be lived. Prayers will join us. Think of the Namaste prayer. We are all one if we believe in Him.
Talking with a friend about her moving in and being housemates. Looks very positive. We are on the same wave length on all matters. Trust her implicitly. I was originally thinking about taking in a homeless working family, but couldn't get by the issue of implicit trust. She was one of DH's girlfriends through Aquatics, have known her may be 6 years. Intentions please that this be guided by our dear Lord. Dh husband had a couple dozen+ girlfriends from this group. They were there for him throughout. People would look at me strangely when I would talk about his girlfriends and not qualify who they were LOL They were all blessed , kind women. I thank the Lord for bringing them into his life and mine.
9:46 pm.

I always find this thread so inspiring, I've met a lot of wonderful women on this BC journey, and learned a lot from them, but it is so nice to have a group that understands the BC and shares the Catholic faith. Thanks all for this thread. God Bless you, Linda

Our Lord is always holding each of us all gently in the palm of his hand. When we have reason to ask, "Where are you now that I need you so very much?" we are quickly answered. On Thursday night, my son was mugged by three strangers while walking home to his apartment in DC.
His wallet was taken, of course, and he suffered a broken wrist, fractured patella, cracked ribs, and numerous cuts and abrasions on his face when his head was smashed repeatadly into the sidewalk.
Our Lord was indeed watching over him for he sent one of his angels who "happened to be passing by" to yell to attract attention which sent the muggers running. My son is alive and the situation could have been so much worse. Thank you Lord for keeping my son safe and for permitting him more time on this earth.
Please remember him in your intentions, dear sisters!
-
Oh Sandy, thank the Lord that he has given us angels here on earth. Prayers for your sons quick recovery and that God can bring the muggers back to Him.mary
-
Dear Sandy,
i am so sorry this happened to your dear son! Thank God it was not worse! xo

Sandy---------your son's pain from the assault and your pain as a mom-----so sorry for both, Suggest that your son get some counseling help. This kind of assault can rob us of our peace of mind and can take a long time to get over. I grew up in the terrible times of Detroit and was mugged a couple of times, nothing close to your sons. That kind of violence can stay with you along time. Seek a councelor that has training in PTSD. Your son might resist, but try. L&H&P's

LINDA welcome to our group------we very much would like you to come and stay with us.
Kay Thanks, the Little Bean is what I will name it. My attitude from the beginning has been if it doesn't bother me, I won't bother it. So, we shall see now if the Little Bean causes trouble or not. I have noticed a difference in vision when I get tired. The positive is I didn't buy the very expensive glasses the doc recommended. I couldn't convince him that my vision was not always the same, so, why buy glasses when it was different all the time. Saved some bucks on that one, but must admit I wish I was wrong. I could tell something had changed. It's adjacent to the optic nerve.

Thank God for angels, Sandy!! The feast of the archangels is this week also!! I pray your son recovers quickly, mentally and physically. I pray that Mary comforts you too, since she knows the heart-pains of a mother.
Sheila - you are in my prayers too!!! Little bean needs to be eaten by your healthy immune system!! Yes, it's always something with those of us with cancer. We might forget about it for a minute, but our bodies are always there to remind us.
I'm asking prayers for one of my little CCD students, Alyssa. She was not in CCD last week, so her mother explained today when she brought her to class. She has HSP, and auto immune disease and had to be hospitalized. I'd never heard of HSP! She showed us the back of her legs with the faded spots. But she's such a happy, cheery little girl and showed no distress at all. Mother wanted us to give her a call right away if she started with stomach pain. But she was completely unaffected in class and was her happy self. She told me a couple of times about the prayers she says and I let her use my rosary during our decade rosary time. I gave each child a prayer card at the beginning of school and told them that saint was their patron saint for the year and would help them with anything. Her patron saint this school year is Saint Robert Bellermine. So maybe we can say a prayer and ask St. Robert to take special care of little Alyssa.
Yes, Sheila, Namaste. Pax et bonum!

It sounds like your sons guardian angel was watching. Thank God that it wasn't worse.
