Sweet, Meece. My goodness, you are an early riser! Off to bundle up and walk the dog, I'm tired of winter.
-
Dutch - I don't think Meece sleeps at all.
-
I know that feeling, but I harbour under the illusion that going to bed at 11 pm and getting up around 7 am constitutes a good night's sleep. Whether I am actually asleep during those hours is open to debate.
-
I go to sleep between 8 and 11 (If I am already in bed, I go to sleep around 8). I get up at 5 am, and like you, dutchgirl, whether I am sleeping the whole time is debatable. I usually awake between Midnight and 2 am and can be awake 1-2 hours.
-
Thank you...
-
Bedtime snack anyone?
-
That will be great. Thanks.
-
Since there was only one taker, I have left-overs for breakfast!
-
Well it's breakfast time & I'm starving!
-
Help yourself. How about beignets tonight? I am craving them.
-
beignets??????????????
-
Sticking with the brat diet today - stomach flu!!
-
Oh, No, Ainm, That's too bad.
A beignet is a dedep fried dough, similar to a doughnut and served with coffee. I had to throw out my mix when I cleaned the pantry today. Got darn bugs!!!

-
Ainm - hope you feel better.
Meece, that box brings fond memories of eating beignetss at Cafe du Monde and being covered in powdered sugar from them.... so good.
Definitely feeling better food is tasting and looking good again.

I love Cafe du Monde and their coffee. Heck I just love New Orleans.
-
my DD & I watched a show on Cafe du Monde not too long ago-would love to go in person!
-
Night - night all. Hope everyone has a great weekend.
Voted in the General Election here today so it's election fever and lots of election TV all weekend here.
Have gotten a little hooked on flat 7up Free over the past week which is odd as I have never really liked 7 Up!! Hmm - so many changes the older I get!!! If anyone would like to join me in a glass of flat 7up Free the bottle is on the counter (it's the one with no top!!).
-
I went to Cafe Du Monde in the early 90s it was great. I heard it was hit by Katrina, so I wonder how much of it had to be rebuilt. The beignet mix is good, but nothing like being there in person.
-
Thanks Ainm. I'm not a "carbonated" fan so flat soda is preferred by me; that is when I drink soda at all, which is rare. But I don't want yours to waste so I'll have a bit. Thanks for sharing. Everyone have a good weekend.
-
Lemon Lime based sodas taste fine to me when they are flat. I know I am strange.
-
I guess the flat 7 up thing comes from the belief here that if you have stomach flu flat 7 up is a good way to get clear fluids into children and gives them some sugar energy too - I don't know if using the 'free' or diet version does the same thing - but it was a change from water!!!
-
Whenever I was sick, my grandmother would take care of me while mother worked, and I always got 7-Up but it wasn't flat unless I left it alone too long.
-

Good Evening Ladies!
-
-
HI
-
Tired tonight - will some one turn off my light if I fall asleep with it on - please??
-
Turning out the light now Ainm. You have the night light if you wake for potty. Thanks for the biscuits you left out. Yummy.
-
Good Night Sisters♥
