BTW, no one but Deb told me about that little tree just above where we post. That's how I had to do it! (who woulda thunk it?)
Sharon, that might scare away the potential grandchildren! Yikes!
-
It is raining here and dreary. Of course, its the weekend. The dogs won't go out in the rain - what do you expect from a dog named Diva!
-
Well, if it's raining where you are come here Kathleen. We're all meeting at my place this morning so you can clean my house. It'll be fun.........trust me.
-
You even get a break and I'll provide something to eat.
-
Hi all,
Posting from Bed, been throwing up all night,yeppi... well that's one way to get slim for a holliday.. We are leaving for 1 week in Crete on Tuesday and I had great ambitions of getting everything ready including visual shedules etc for my dear special needs kiddo and getting some more fun stuff for Easter tomorrow for my girl and boy to "find" from the Easter bunny.
Managed some bunny masks for them from my bed, but "flippin heck" talk about timing. Being a lemon again. oh well. C'est la vie.
Wish me luck playing catch up with my "to do" list when I am better.

Ah Shiny, I'll hold your hair out of the way, but yah gotta face the other way when you chuck....
Hope you feel better soon!
-
Thank you very much lovy,
My hair's not that long that it's a problem yet, it's getting longer but it's so curly now that you can hardly tell! (well there you go, the upside of chemo curcly crazy hair... simpler to chuck up! lovely..)
I can hear my hub with his "music" on loud downstairs when I thought he was supposed to take the kids to the park, so I think am a gonna have to get "better" now, to sort the kids out.
xx thanks again.. grrr anything to get that "music" off. (I did get him some headphones, but he doesn't like wearing them, shame... cause it "aint" sooothing music!
shiny
-
o.k, bit harsh on the music thing. sorry, something about being up as described above has made me bit sensitive. Maybe hub got a sense about is,as music has just been switched off. OKIDOKY, best get on with what's left of the day.
HAPPY Easter to you all!!xxx!!!ooo!!!xxx!!!oooo!!!
Shiny
-
Shiny, sorry your day has started out so blah. Sigh, you need some pampering........wish we could help you out.
Gentle hugs and Happy Easter to you too.
-
Shiny, I use earplugs! I started with my hospitals stays and found that it's easier for me to wear earplugs than expect everyone else to be quiet (my husband snores). I can even sleep through a phone ringing (yah, but is that good?). I get them at the pharmacy, they are soft spongey things that you crimp down and stuff in your ears and they expand. Wonderful. They are NOT for swimming, not those kind.
-
Sending Julz a welcome to our little group. Thats a beautiful baby you have there too!
-
-
Sharon - I'll be right over - those treats look fabulous!
-
Oh thankyou Kathleen........good to know. Phew, now I can go outside and enjoy the sun so much easier knowing you are on your way. You can be in charge of the others as they arrive.
-
Think everyone has gotten off to an early start this morning except me. Barbe you have posted great pics and your daughter is beautiful. Wanted to compliment you on your style too as I didn't even notice the no boobs! Makes me realize maybe others don't notice as much as we think.
Shiny sending hugs your way. Also sending you hot tea and crackers till your tummy settles.
Deb from Ohio maybe you can post those instructions for all of us. Still trying to figure out where that tree is that Barbe mentioned? Also Coonie I'd like to know how to get those links posted that people can just click on and go. (So much to learn on here
)
-
Thanks mom! I think she's beautiful too, but of course, my opinion is a little bit biased....
Told y'all so about the no-boob thing. I really don't think people notice as much as we think they do and if they do, they deserve to see nothing!
-
Barbe your daughter is beautiful. By the way love the new avatar meant to mention it earlier but my head is not always thinking proper.
Lori
-
Sharon I was on my way over then I remembered....
So I figured maybe we should all come over and just pretend.
I know we could all get together for an easter egg hunt......
-
Good morning gals! So good to see so many of you up bright and early. My plans were to leave today, but instead, we're leaving in the morning. More time to play (uhhh....I mean pack)......hehe....
Barb----the pics are just GORGEOUS!! Your daughter is so beautiful I know she'll make a beautiful bride, and you'll make a beautiful bride's mother. I didn't notice the "no boobs" either. I usually wear alittle cami with stuffing, but wouldn't mind just going flat. Do you wear some type of cami or something to keep your clothes from scratching you?
Hey Julz......glad you came over to the housekeeping thread. It's fun!
OK now are we all meeting at Sharon's this morning? Do I need to bring SOS pads, comet cleaners, windex? I can get things cleaned pretty quick, but I sure wouldn't want to step on anybody's toes. So....what I thought I might do, is keep doggus outside while all the cleaning is going on. I'm sure it would disrupt his quiet life:) Just let me know Sharon, before I leave, OK?
-

Good morning Ladies!
Yes, barbe your daughter is beautiful! Great pictures. You look great too!! Like Mother like daughter!!! Makes me want to put a little make up on this morning.
Had the boys sleep over last night. Just made them all breakfast and cleaned the kitchen after that. I haven't dared to enter the basement...aka kid cave. I'll be dealing with that later on while they are at a bday party.
I have to make a bunny cake today for the kids and a few calzones. Yummy. I also get to bring Mac and cheese to my MIL house for Easter dinner for the kids. It's easier if I just give them that than argue about what they don't like. Which is everything.
Have a great day ladies. Weather is terrible here again. raining and in the low 40's, I guess it's better than snow. No motorcycle rides today!
-
Sharon, That's exactly what I'll need to clean the basement after the boys. Can you send them over???
-
Ah Mak, but the boys will take such good care of you in your old age!
Coonie, I didn't want clothes to scratch so I bought all new tops! Everytime I buy one I let my DH feel how soft it is. How can he stop me from spending when my logic is so solid?
Sharon, shucks, I'm already at work, the car automatically went in that direction when I left the house. And here I had already picked the 2 rooms I wanted to do for you! The kitchen and the bathroom. Would that have worked for you?
-
Sharon!!! I knocked on your door I don't know how many times,.............um, well, it was at least once, maybe twice.......but NOBODY came to the door. I heard doggus barking, but I just figured you were up to your elbows in the toilet, so I didn't want to bother you:) I did get Doggus to bring me out some of the refreshments you had sitting on the table though:) Thanks!!
Oh Shiny!!!!!!!!! I'm so so sorry you're not feeling well! I wish I could run to Walmart and pick up a few things for you. You know, some pepto bismol, or some chicken noodle soup or something. I would even get those ear plugs Barbe was talking about. Girl......you're never gonna get well if you don't get a Walmart built there REAL soon!!! Should we call the Queen or somebody?
Barbe---I think I may go WITHOUT my stuffings some for my trip. I bet it feels better anyway. It's going to be cooler, and I'm sure I'll be wearing some type of jacket or sweater. You've given me the courage to at least try it. You look beautiful! I ALWAYS hated bras!!! Just never thought I would get rid of them THIS way, you know?
So glad DebfromOhio helped you out. I've heard others talk about little trees, but either I don't have them, or my eyes are too bad to see them. So glad you're able to post pics now. Thanks DebfromOhio.......you will be our resident photography instructor from now on:)
Hey Linda.......just get a pressure washer after your basement. That's what us rednecks do in the south. hehe It will clean anything in its tracks:)
Kathleen's got the nice looking vacuum cleaner though. She may be available to clean it for you:)
I like Lori's way of thinking................a clean house is a wasted life. Let's just all have an easter egg hunt!!!
Hey mom.........whenever I type in a link, I just type the www part and all that follows and it should turn blue or purple and you just click on it. It's not hard, believe me:) I'll try this
There, i just typed out the website and you should be able to click on to check the weather anywhere in the world. Believe me, it has to be easy if I can do it. I'm very computer challenged.
((((((((((((((((((((((((((big huggies for everyone)))))))))) If I don't talk to you all before I leave, I will see you in about a week. UNLESS, I'm able to get internet service where I'll be staying. Be thinking of you all......... May you all have a blessed Happy Easter. ...........and
HAPPY HOUSEKEEPING!!
-
Go for the fashion statement Coonie!!! I have one boob and don't pad the other side. Just layer. And sometimes I don't even bother to do that. LOL, takes away from people looking at the wrinkles on my face hehehehe.
Linda, would you share your calzone recipe. I LOVE calzones. In fact, why don't you bring some with you when you come to clean my house?
Hi and hugs to all.
-
The Tree is there, when you post a reply, it's right on the line above your first line next to the smiley face.........on Photobucket, just copy the Direct Url and click on that little tree picture up there, paste it in where it says "Image Url" and ya don't have to worry about the rest of the junk in the box, just click on insert at the bottom........... and Voila, pic posted!
Hugs
Deb

I SEE THE TREE --- I SEE THE TREE!!!! PRAISE BE TO GOD!! I SEE THE TREE!!
-
It's truly a Miracle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And for allowing such a Miracle to happen, you are therefore granted today off from housework!
-
Well heck, I've been sitting here all morning thinking "where's the tree, where's the tree"? So I found it..........what do I do with it?
-
Prrraaaaise Gawd!!!! Hallelujah
