Hahahaha, I missed it too.  Heck.  Well Barbe, DD may use the cleaner but since I have to donate $5 for the shared house gift then we all get to share the cleaner.  Sound fair enough?

Here I am, cleaning.  (Ya right:))

OK. I found this thread for a second time. Does that make me a two-timer??

Looks like you've been up to lots of fun.

I'd like to become a 'regular'...... how do I get a house-keeping membership card?

    True confessions, from the out-set:

I pay a very good friend (who needs the $$) to clean our house. It works out for both of us, but I still must be held responsible for the day-to-day piles, laundry and putting up the Christmas tree.

Maybe you'll give me an associate membership?

I've only read back a tad-bit, but did read Coonie's acceptance speech.... what was her nomination? Cleanest cleaner? Most enthusiastic duster? Mop mama? I'm on the edge of my loveseat and can only begin to imagine.

Enough about me. I'm home for the next week..... just think of the projects that I can procrastinate over.

I know I know......I think it's a Hanna Montana or something like that, but the others were a little "off color".....

Now.....you don't REALLY have to clean house to be a member of this club:) We all TALK about it "sometimes", but we mostly have a good time!!!

OH, and my speech was for winning the most posts! But.......I had to give my award back, because there are others who have posted waaaaay more than me. I tried to give it to Sharon, but she wanted cash:) hehe  I DID mention you in my speech. Did you notice?Wink

I'm sure mom2two will come along and welcome you again, and the others will too. These gals are really sweet and supportive. There's a bunch of 'em, but you enjoy getting to know them.

((((((((((((((huggies Faithie)))))))))) so glad you've joined us!!!

Hey DebfromOhio!!! I agree----if hubby is off, you should be too!! hehe

Deb-from-Ohio ~ I have not taken the Flexeril.  I will wait until later tonight.  I don't want to mess up my whole day of not cleaning!

2new1's - great attitude.  I would have for you to clean today.

Coonie - Thanks fo rthe check!!

I got to go out with my DH today for a nice long motorcycle ride.  I love doing that!  The sun was out, it was beautiful!!  Then I came home because it started clouding up, rain moving in soon.  So, I got to clean my boys gerbils cage.  My least favorite thing to do!  If I waited for the boys to do it, the gerbil would be dead.  It's tempting sometimes!  Plus, when they clean the cage, I end up with gerbil poop all over the place and have to clean up after them anyway.  At least it's done!

I also vacuumed the entire basement, which is the boys play room.  We are having another sleepover tonight so I had to clear  the lego's again so they have a floor to sleep on.  4 boys, please pray for me!

Girls, it's my birthday and I'm NOT doing housework!!!!

I have a diagnostic mamm scheduled for next Friday to see what these "more calc's" are about, so I'm not doing housework next Friday either!!!!   So there!

Linda, that's one thing I miss about one of my ex's -- riding with him on his motorcycle on a warm day.

KAK ~ Okay, you have to sing this outloud to the tune of the "Happy Birthday" song:

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to KAK, happy birthday to you - no housework for you, no housework for you, today is your birthday, so no housework for you!"

    Hi All.

Makraz, I can't beleive there is still some lego left in your kids playroom/basement! hopefully they will move on from lego soon, cause them pesky peices seem to get everywhere don't they, and they "blinking" hurt if you thread on them.Prayers coming your way for the 4 boys sleep over tonight, ohh boy...

Mum2two, I agree with you, Genuine Maple Butter is DEEEVINNE! Its a sweetness and melt in your mouth texture that is hard to leave alone (speaking from experience!). Thank goodness they only sell it in small jars, or I would be in big trouble! You should be able to get it from any Canadian airport and  from Quebec grocery stores, online too? BTW: there is a less subtle dare I say FAKE version called MAP-O-SPREAD, very sweet and smooth.

Coonie, hope you manage to salvage your day, despite Walmart being closed, or did yours "behave" and stay open? Honestly, if you saw the prices of things here, you would SO get why I am "very smitten" with Walmart.xx I brought back big Easter craft foam kits  on my rare visit in Feb and my kids have enjoyed making cards and crafts with me for their friends all afternoon, and there's loads left! brill! sigh...

    Hi Faith.

Didn't get much done except the meals and kitchen/laundry. Was mainly with DD as she searched the little shopping centre for hiden Easter eggs in shop windows to enter their  Easter Egg hunt competition.Sweet.

Nighty night all, and bestest vibes..

Oh KAK a very very Happy Birthday  you!! And you're right......you don't have to do ANYTHING since it's your birthday. As a matter of fact, the rule is.......NONE of us have to do ANYTHING if it's ANYBODY'S birthday! So there.....I'm quitting for the day!! We gotta celebrate Kak's birthday!!

Lori baked a beautiful cake and supplied the balloons.

Hi Mumayan........glad you could join us today to celebrate KAK's birthday!

2new1s...better wait awhile to take that Flexeril. You want to be conscious for the birthday party.

Shiny!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our Walmart is OPEN!!! I haven't had a chance to go today, but will HAVE to go tomorrow. Just make me a list and I'll send you everything you need!!! hehe Our Walmart is about 1.5 miles from my house..........as a matter of fact, we have two in our town. The one closest to our house is brand new and it is soooooooo nice!!! That is one stop shopping.....gas, pharmacy, food, oil change, bank, Subway Sandwich Shop, florist, bakery, deli, eye doctor. I guess the only thing they DON'T have is a plastic surgeon and oncologist. If they did, I wouldn't have to go anywhere but WalMart!!!! Maybe some day............who knows????  Hope you have a blessed Easter!!

In honour of Kathi's birthday I did absolutely NO housework today.

    Lori, that icing looks deeeevine.

I think were in Kansas today ladies. Its been storms, hail and even tornados sited in the next town over today. We had gone to eat at Pizza Hut and when we came out there was a cloud that looked like a funnel only it wasn't spinning. Hubby and I just looked at each other but since we weren't under a warning we thought it couldn't be one. Apparently it could have been one. I took my mom and daughter to see the new Hannah Montana Movie and thats when all the warnings came through, only we were blissfully unaware of what was happening. They didn't even stop the movie to let us know how bad it was outside.

By the way the movie was really good, one of the first kid movies I've actually enjoyed watching in a long time. Someone had rented a huge white limo like the ones posted earlier and out came a whole group of little Hannah Fans. Bet it would be a fun birthday idea too.

Wow! I have missed all of you..but looks like I picked a great day to join u all again... Happy Birthday Kathi. You have all been having too much fun without me...especially sharon, coonie, and Linda. You must split that money evenly..no hogging it!

I have been working my paying job for the past few days and it's really worn me out, plus my 1st ex husband has been staying with us so he can visit with the kids over easter break. Also...I've been doing some online singles stuff....trying to find myself a MAN, a Manly Man, a hunka hunka burnin love kinda man. Sooo...I have it narrowed down to 2! Who has time for housework??

I'm trying to go back and read all the posts I've missed...you gals are BUSY!!!

Gosh mom2two, I can't believe they didn't alert you to the tornado warning in the theatre.  I live in Canada so I'm not sure of how you are alerted (or not) but sheesh........  When one is in a windowless building you are so totally oblivious to the weather outside.

    Glad you enjoyed the movie.

Caligrl, I was wondering about you. Soooooo, you've been entertaining the 1st exhusband, while trying to find another husband on the internet. Now where has Jerkwad been during all this activity? hehe You sure don't need another one of those:) and the hunka hunka burnin love is Elvis right, and he's from the south, right? So, that leads you right back to Louisiana:) You better wait for your friend to get you that Louisiana man:)
