Oh, then that explains everything
We may not see her for a looooong time !!! hehe
-
The kids are probably standing around waiting for mom and dad to pick them up
-
Maybe they should set up a tent just in case......
-
If I'm not mistaken I think she mentioned in an earlier post that she was having some computer problems...
-
Oh, you girls! I'm sitting LMAO, ROFL, LOL, etc.
Shiny, congrats on tribunal. If I ever need help fighting a bureaucracy, I'm calling YOU!
EWB, CARDS is on my to do list. Hope to get to it later. Glad your mom is coming along.
I haven't seen Linda on FB either yet.
Faith, Sharon, Coonie, Arnie -- re #32 and Photoshop and travelling.....I love a challenge, so I'll have to work on those pix. Hey, I want to see Door County, Faith. Those photos on FB are gorgeous!! But, Coonie, I maybe am thinking about a quick Louisiana trip this October, soooooo...Mom, since 9/11, you can't cross the US/Canadian with just your birth certificate or driver's license anymore. Need a passport now, but in the US, I think they've speeded up the process online (gotta renew mine)!
Deb, nice to gab with you online today. Good b*tching about the one-size-fits-all treatment we seem so often to get with BC.
Hey, Nancy, I got my car back, too, finally!! Two new bumpers -- poor car's only been with me 7 months & it's had both bumpers banged into! But the paint match isn't too good, so they're going to call me back in for a day when the paint people figure it out. Oy. I don't even care anymore!!!!
I think this would be way more fun to drive anyway. Met the owner of this wondrous vehicle today in a local grocery store parking lot! Vintage, restored 1957 Chevy truck with a mahogany truck bed. I LOVED it!! Me, a Yankee chick from Boston! I had truck lust right there in the parking lot!!!!! But my friend Monda says I'm an honorary Southern Gal (she's from Arkansas) because I like lipstick & high heels, so, hey....meanwhile, I can proudly say that of course I got no housework done today, but I did go to the dump. Does that count???
-
Hi Ladies!
I'm home!!! I was not out with Jack Daniel, I was with Captain Morgan. If you are going to start rumors about me, make sure you get them right! Both are equally fine gentlemen!
I spent a week in the woods on the Lakeside with my DH and boys. We had fun but boy........teenagers!! I need a vacation!
So much catch up on. I have read most while I was away, just couldn't stay connected for more than a few minutes at a time so it was difficult to post.
I LOVE thunderstorms too and watch them in my garage too! Db, I bet yours are crazy where you live.
umber 32 is back.....can't someone sink it? I would try to post a pic of it, but you know what will happen.
I'm tired! I will be checking back later. Hope you are all doing well. I have been thinking of each of you every day. Someone mentioned contacting Oprah about our group, I think that's a great idea!
Linda

Okay, I gotta ask, why do y'all sit in your garages to watch lightning storms? Don't y'all have windows in your houses or is it a US thing?
-
Whats the fun in that Barbe? It's more fun to sit outside where you can see the lightening better, watch the clouds, and feel the wind..........
-
and get wet when the winds blow so hard half your garage is soaked!
Deb, I want to hang with you!
-
Linda, I CANNOT believe you just said you want to get wet in the rain! Be careful what you wish for girlfriend! Look out Boston, it's Linda's fault!
-
Guess what Barb, we are in the middle of thunder showers right now. They are not very entertaining though. I like LOUD thunder and constant lightening. That will probably happen around 2 a.m. and piss me off!
-
Exactly Linda, ain't nothing like a great storm you can sit and watch like that..what's so neat is we are both amateur radio operators, when there is severe weather, they bring up a weather net on the radio, amateurs from all over the area call in and say what the weather is l ike in their area...pretty slick, kind of like you're following it.
-
I like watching movies of tornado chasers and think that would be cool. Of course, I have never seen one where I live, but it looks so cool! My DH thinks I'm crazy.
-
We always have plenty of warnings for tornados but I've never seen one either.....in fact, one touched down like a mile and a half away, I didn't even know bout it till someone called and told me! LOL....bet you loved the movie Twister, I think I've watched that like 30 times now! LOL....one touched down about 90 miles away from here today in Pike County, Ohio, I have a very close friend that lives up there, they said 5 people were injured..sure hope she is ok.....
-
Yes, I love the movie Twister! I guess I am crazy. Freaky weather always fascinates me!
Is it a big red box???
-
Dag no one else is here, so guess I will have to hurt your feelings...yep it's a big old red box.
-
Nah, that's what I expected. Now everyone will know I'm back!! I will try to upload to photobucket tomorrow. I'm off to watch SNL in bed till I fall asleep.
Have a great night. I hope your skin is feeling better. I used to use aloe vera gel and keep it int he fridge. It was so cool and soothing!
See you tomorrow!
-
Awwww thanks Linda, no one does the big red boxes like you. I was beginning to think we wouldn't ever get to see them again.
Arnie are you kidding girlfriend, We love your pics, gifs and animations. You are a goldmine on here and I seriously mean that.
-
My little one just popped out of bed so have to get her settled again. Nite.
-
A BIG red box...... all's right with the world.
Linda's back!
I can go to sleep now.
hugs to one and all.......
xx00xx
-
Hey, I just saw the red box!! Welcome back, Linda. Will we be seeing red boxes on FB, too???
Nite nite.
-
ROFLMAO.... Ohhhhhhhhhh I wish I would of stayed up!!! lol
Barbe... your comment about sitting in garages watching thunderstorms a US thing about choked me I laughed so hard!!!! Oh my goodness girl...
Makraz...YEAH!!! A big red box!!! lol I thought we had seen the last of them...sooooooooooo glad that they're back...lol
Debs... Have you tried putting the cream in the fridge??? Sounds like a good idea...I'm gonna remember that one... I wish I would've been on here to tease Linda with you...
Mom.......awwwwwwwww I feel the same way about you sweetie...you're a gem... dh and I cracked up at your pic with the dh holding baby yesterday...lol My dh really did clean the house yesterday, bless his heart, I just didn't have the energy. I did the dishes, cleaned the stove and microwave and did a bit of laundry but he did everything else while I went and took a three hour nap!!! He's a keeper
Hope all you dustbunnies have a blessed day....
-
Sorry, I think I started the Jack Daniels rumour. Is Captain Morgan as nice a fellow? Linda, it was great to see you haven't lost your touch. That was one beautiful red box. And listen, if you want to 'off' #32 PM me
. LMAO, I wouldn't want the word to get out to Coonie 'cause if something happens to that duck I'm going to be blamed for sure.
Who here sits in their garage? We just moved here last year and never had a garage before now so we've not done it yet.........but I think it's kind of a country thing. In fact some people actually screen in their garages for the summer and leave the vehicles out side. There is something neat about watching a lightning show but it scares me nevertheless. Now if it's not over my place I can enjoy that a little more.
Happy housecleaning free day all.
-
Arnie please give Mr. Arnie this official Dust Bunnie Award for his oustanding housekeeping achievements with our deepest appreciation.
Dust Bunny Award
-
morning dusty buns............
sun's out, bicycle's callin' my name

-
Have fun Faith.
-
Wish I could go with ya!!!
Well... maybe mom but he sure did get a kick out of yours!!!
Hope Sharon's enjoying her Sunday drive....
-
Hello dust bunnies I hope you are all having a good Sunday.
Shiny congratulations on the tribunal result. After all your hard work I am so pleased that you got a good outcome.
Linda welcome back. It was great to see the return of the big red box too!
It is a bright and breezy day here so I am going out for a walk with dh in a few minutes. See you all later.
