Arnie, I haven't got to sit down for two minutes today before someone hollers to be taken somewhere. I found this for you this morning and am posting it now before your birthday is over. Hope you are having a wonderful birthday. You are a very special part of this thread!
-
CarolMarie how awful about your friend. Who did she leave her son with?
As for the mastectomy, the worry hurts far more than the actual surgery. I think you are going to be pleasantly surprised how little it hurts. We are right here rooting for you too. You go girl!
-
Happy birthday, Arnie!
CarolMarie, I don't think we've met. I'm Cheryl. This is a great thread, huh?! I love joining in on the antics!!! I will keep your friend's son in my prayers. I'm sorry for your loss.
OMG Deb, I'm so sorry you got 3rd degree burns! I really hope they say you are done with radiation!
I would like to ask you all to remember my niece in your prayers. She is 15 years old. She just learned her dad is dead. Her mom (DH's sister) has been divorced from him for a while. Her dad lived alone. He had been dead a few days before anyone found him. An autopsy is being done to determine the cause of death. I feel so bad for her I'm sick!
-
CarolMarie, Mom's right about the surgery. It's not that bad. You just won't be doing much lifting over your head, or side straddle hops for awhile. My prayers will be with you during your surgery and recovery. (((((((((((gentle hugs to you))))))))))
-
Oh NOOOOO Cheryl!!! How tragic for your niece!! I will definitely be praying for that sweet child. What a shock. Bless her heart. ((((((((((((((gentle hugs for all of you))))))))))))
-
Cheryl how awful for that daughter. Kids can feel responsible even in impossible situations like that.
-
DEB!!! I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND sister ! I was you.. BIGTIME... I HATED RADS! I am so sorry.. I did all the treatment you have.. I have TE in now and am about ready for exchange. I just want to tell you.. if you decide to do the boosts.. you can do it.. I ALMOST dropped them too.. but I didn't.. they were way less painful than reg. rads. I have lots of scar tissue.. anyway.. I do not wanna harp on me.. but let you know you are NOT NOT NOT alone... so here is one HUMONGOUS ((((((((HUG))))))))) for you sister.
God Bless you! You are almost DONE! Give yourself a HUGE hug and kiss!
-
Coonie, I've had a few meals at Lamberts myself and been thrown some of those delicious rolls by Norman Lambert himself. He was such a nice man.
-
Carolmarie, so sorry for your loss......May your friend restr in peace......
-
Oh cool Mom!!! I've never met him!! I've read about him. Their food is so good. The rolls fill me up pretty quick!!
Good night bunnies. Hope you all have a peaceful evening.

Thursday morning, yes it is early. I was out most of yesterday doing a lot of nothing after bridge. Today I take my car to be serviced - 10 year maintenance, so I may have to do some housework since I will be stuck in the apartment till they bring it back to me. I can't catch up with all of you busy ladies. Gentle hugs and good wishes and thoughts. Nancy
-
Ah, Captain Morgan is a good bloke to hang with!
Nancy, if you are stuck in your apartment you will have LOTS of chance to catch up!
