-
Oh, Sheila, I'll bet you cannot wait to get your hands on Isabel.
We head to see Patch and Lala in 10 days. Lala will celebrate her first birthday while we are there. Time flies so fast!
-
Ducky - it's perhaps an hour and 20 minutes north/northeast of me. It's horrible though....can't imagine just driving innocently down the road...
-

Val, I hope you are OK.
Meece, it's so special when you get to see Patch & Lala...I just can't believe it's been a year.
Annette, I knew we were related-glad I'm not the only one who gets impatient at nail salon.
Sheila, you must be very excited!!!!
Ducky, did you "pass" your tests at the dr
Falling asleep here...turned
-
Joan.....hi girlie........passed the heart business with flying colors...... did the treadmill, and had no problems...........however......my biopsies came back from the Dermn, and I have a basal cell on my chest, and a squamous cell on my shin............damn it.........more crap........they will remove both on May 7th...............not sure how deep the squamous goes..........and believe it or not.....7 months ago another Derm told me it was nothing..........that is why I have been to 4 Derms.......most are not thorough at all..........this last one was great..........so here we go again...
Hope your feeling good Joan......worried about FK......too much for her........she needs a break........
-
Sorry Ducky - I got my stitches our for my squamous yesterday and now you'll be next....are you having mohs surgery?
Sandy - I hope today is just a bit easier for you.
I don't think anything can bring Sheila down right now
Happy travels, Joan....
-
Rain........not sure, just got the result yesterday, and did not ask will inquire today...
-
ducky, you soooo do not deserve more crap! here is hoping they get it all first pass, ad they dont hurt too much, or too long! i know whenever i show spots on skin to docs, they always say its nothing! but they were not there before!
-
Rain I had several Derms say "its sun damage"......kept going to another one, then another one, until I got the recommendaiton for this one, cause I was constantly bitching to people about how uncaring Derms are.......then my daughters MIL went to this woman and said she was amazing......scheduled, went, and she was.......fantastic......she checked places I never knew cancer could grow, especiall since the sun does not shine on those parts..............LOL
Glad I found her.........
By the way Rain....did it hurt when they dug for your squamous................and don't lie........LOL....I'm a baby......
-
Ducky - they just numb it up with lidocaine - that part hurts a bit but after that felt nothing and had no real pain afterward, just tenderness. Mohs surgery is not done by all, it allows the doctor to do slices and check pathology instantly and they keep going until you are clear. It sounds like a lot, but it's not. They got mine in one slice. The difference is with traditional approach, you don't know if they got it all when you leave and sometimes they can't send it out for verification. With Mohs, you just know then and there. It's about pathology and technique, not equipment. I got the last of my stitches our on my nose and I think it's going to be just fine.
-
Rain....my son had mohs done on his face too......fantastic job.....I will call and ask what procedure they are going to do........that sounds like the best, but wonder if they do that anywhere else on the body..........face it...who would want a chunk out of your face if it could be avoided........thanks for the info.
I know when she did the biopsy I felt nothing....she said to me "ok, small pinch, big burn, then nothing"........that was the numbing stuff......so we shall see.
-
They do Moh's anywhere on the body
Sheila - grandma - have you held Isabella yet?
-
Rain.....thanks.....was reading about it and seems like Mohs is the best way to be pretty sure you get good margins.....
-
I was with her all day..i love her so much ♥
-
Aw, Sheila, I can feel your love all the way over here. These moments are so special.
Hugs!
-
