Deb.....right there with you and your daughter....just because a person is at the end of there life, does not change the kind of life they lived, or how they treated others......I understand, it is just sad, cause they could have been remembered differently had they lived differently.......I completely understand......won't get into why or how, but I do.........so many wasted years......hugs and prayers -
Happy Birthday, Sheila!!!!!
Hope chemo isn't too hard on you, Sandy.
Gotta leave for work...hope it goes by fast...

Linda....I took care of all my future appointments all 7 of them....then got a stupid headache waiting for call backs
Sun came out...walked
Ate Tuna fish and 3 small potatoes too lazy to fix the chicken or the Ground Turkey
One Special thing is that MH is still in tact and I have you all here
♥ lalalalalalalalalalaaaaaaaa
-
Good for you Sheila! Did you see the news about ground turkey? I use it all the time but am not buying it anymore.
-
I heard some things but didn't pay too much attention
i buy th all natural one (not Organic0 but doesn't contain certain things or they are fed differently
So what are we suppose to buy....red meat is no good
If we cook the right will be fine??????
I like well done..all dried up...
So what are you using as a substitute?
-
I'm not! lol!!! I just heard about this last week. Eating more fish instead. I hope cooking it well takes care of the problem. In due time I will forget, then I will buy it again!

Good Morning. Muggy, wet in Ma.

{{{Deb}}}
Happy Belated Birthday, Sheila.
Didn't get the job, but have been working at one school from the 30th through yesterday. Got a call at 10 last night that a different school needs me today. That's cool. Although I had not been trained on the switchboard that is what I did for over a week, and I will be doing that today as well. Each new thing I do, makes me more marketable for the other schools.
-
Sheila......did you mean Mahi Mahi.........That is Dolphin fish.......not sure if that is what you meant..........never had it, but I heard it is very good.........I can tell you of a few more.....I an a huge fish person....rarely eat red meat, other then a good Filet Mignon.
Here are a few..
Swai...a type of catfish....very good, and inexpensive
Barramundi.....type of sea bass......very good, mild tasting
Tilapia......mild fish, but buy Wild only
Monk Fish......very ugly, but with drawn butter is excellent...called "poor mans lobster....
Love canned Sardines, but only 1 brand.....CENTO....hate the others....high in protein..
Give them a try........ -
Ducky...Until few months ago didn't pay attention it was Farm raised or wild caught
i'm also a huge fish eater
Tilapia is farm raised
Mahi mahi i tasted in Hawaii when my SIL and his friends went to deep sea fishing...he came home with a big one...OMG so fresh it was delicious
Meece...thanks for the B wishes
I have appointments to go
Rain and high humidity.......
Talk to you all later..
♥
I like sardines
I should try Monk fish just the name makes me uneasy like i'm eating an actual human monk
-
Sheila....we go over to the Lobster House, down the shore in Cape My to buy all our fresh fish....right off the boats.........I was at the store once and said to the guy when I was buying Monk fish....."damn that is an ugly fish, even filleted"...,,,,his answer..." You think this is ugly, you should see it with the head on"........delicious, but never quite thought of it the same way after that comment......
Here in the Philly suburbs you can get a wild caught Tilapia now....more expensive though...actually this one store sells mostly wild caught.....however most don't....
One of my favorites is mussels......but only Prince Edward Island.....I make my own....they are so clean...no beards, or dirt.....with crusty italian bread.....oh so yummy, and not fattening which is why fish is so good for you.......put it over "angel hair" and your in heaven..but that will up your calories, now I'm hungry...also love my Salmon, wild caught only....... -
I love mussels and fish too!
-
Hi Linda welcome to our fishy conversation......this has probably bored many who don't eat fish, but was trying to suggest a few I have tried.....happy eating.....
-
i don't eat farm raised fish at all - tonight I am making halibut - yum!
-
I'm fine with our fishy posts...I want to live in a small fish village and catch my own fish
I love mussels on angel pasta...love all shell fish but i like it steamed nothing raw except the sushi of course
I accomplished a lot today...finally the denture issue is going to the right direction.......left it with the dentist....
It's pouring zebras and elephants
Please don't mention anything about cheese cakes
-
It's pouring cheese cakes here!!!
-
And tomorrow I'm having all you can eat OCF and other things
also my rainbow cookies whatever they called..........
