It feels good doesn't it Sandy?

Sorry the stuff is coming out your eyes, Sandy. I got crusty eyes when I was a kid from allergies. I would rub my eyes so much they would swell and run and sometimes they were stuck shut in the morning. Hurt to try to unstick them. Washcloths with water by the bed to soften the crust when you wake up? (not that you didn't already think of that)
Hope the boys make it to school on time tomorrow.

-
Thanks Sandy, I knew thats what you do. I bet your good at it! We kicked ass today!! Got speech services reinstated, MCAS accomodations, removal from one class, accommodations for another. Oh ya! Love when I can help my kid!
Do tell, Sandy???
I had AG with my scallops, I ate them and did not smoke them. lol

Good job Linda, didn't have to go.....ok the visit today you ready arrived at 945 for chemo to be give at 10 am went to the dr. office got my chart and the paper for bw
so my friend elaine went with me cause my other friend couldn't....with the insurance i have can't go to the drs. or get treatment on the same day so went to the drs. the other day and he told me that I need bw before i get chemo to check on my white/red count...dr. told me that i could go through the hospital i go to IF the bw is related to chemo....they never gave a form to get it done anywhere else, they called billing and the office and they both said no i couldn't get it done......after about 1/2 hour of them trying to figure it out they took it....the lab tech sticks the needle in my arm my daughter had some to see me and charli was there and elaine was there....the tech had the vial in her hand and and she walks away and pulls the need out and the blood starts come out and she says oooops .....i said do you need to do it again.....no she says i think i have enough....(whatever....) have to wait for a chair (there are 6) after 4 hours I was done......I have to get it 2 weeks on and 1 week off....but ....I have to get zometa every 4 weeks and that is next week....i felt like i was doing everybodys job...
-
Whaat? Your insurance wanted you to go somewhere else to get your bw done before chemo? And they don't let you see your doctor on the same day? Nothing like making people jump through hoops to get treatment (which then takes all day...). wtf? I hope karma catches up to whoever made those rules. (sorry, I have bad mood disorder...this stuff drives me crazy)
Hope you don't have any SE's or they are very mild. ((((((Sandy))))))
-
I am so sorry you had to go through that, Sandy. Techs and nurses ought to realize that when we've been going through this for so long, we no a thing or two. I still deal with phlebotomists who think they know more about how to take my blood than I do. The real bad thing is you never get the same one twice, you are always training someone new.
-
I'm sorry too Sandy. They should really make it easier on you! Going through chemo is bad enough without this additonal crap!
-
Baby it's cold outside!
-
Sandy...Put them on the line we take turns SLAPPING them. I hope you are having a better day today. Maybe some DQ is in order.
Chris...I'm little concern about that boy who is not leaving your DD alone.
Finally between all the walking and less eating..I'm going to the right direction......
You should go to FB and see Diane's GD's picture...you want to eat her up. Her expressions are priceless.♥

Hello everyone ... could you help me out?
I have been having really back cramps in my feet...the kind where your toes get positioned funny and you can't move anything ... has anyone else had this? I get them just about every day (at night time). And ... my left arm (side of surgery, node removal and a piece of a nerve removed)...and that entire left arm falls asleep/goes numb/tingles - almost to the point where it hurts - and it happens several times a day (10-20 times) ... anyone else have this? I can't get an MRI until after reconstruction so I thought I'd ask the most awesome wonderful people in the whole world
Thanks so much ...
