REALLY LIKE
Now, about the frozen food, I buy tv dinners all the time, can't taste anything so it works for me. I always buy some for myself when I am not cooking, and I love them....don't care about the salt or them being processed food, either I don't have money to buy food or they don't like anything or I am trying to teach them they have to cook for themselves and there is stuff in there for them to make.....
So glad they have school tomorrow, hopefully they will go.....and I have nothing to do so I can have the whole house to myself, yea!!! Time will fly now til June hopefully or at least to Spring Break in April OR to my yearly Hershey vacation at the end of next month....
Diane I am so sorry that your DIL is being so difficult and wonder what your son thinks about all of it, he has to live with her so he will defend her and he loves her and boys/men are stupid where women are concerned, lol....Hopefully she will get that she has a MIL that cares about her..
I am beyond grateful that I found this website and this particular forum and met all of you.....you allow me to be myself, don't judge me, let me vent and take me for who I am, listen to me and we we laugh together about things that others wouldn't understand.....also, you all know more about me and this diagnoses then my family and some of my friends......I adore every single one of you and it is my hope that some day, some time, we meet in person, in real time!!!
Tomorrow.....28deg, feels like 17deg and snow showers....

Blondie.....................yea, they can have this friggin weather...........awful........and I only went outside to take a few strands of lights off the rails..................my daughter said she was coming back to do it. (told her the day she put them, I didn't want them on).............well they are down, could not wait till next Sunday, so did it myself, and it was damn cold out there, and we haven't even got the blast yet......
Sheila.......good for you joining.......your a good cook....do you own food, it is points, and it is a lot of food......no restrictions, just be sensible (haha) with your choices.............like almost all fruits, and veggies are "free"...........no points charged...............you can do this.......your a good cook, at least you sound like you are..........good luck.............let us know how you do, and join us on the Wednesday Weigh In thread............a bunch of fun girls there too.
-
Ducky...i hate to dissapoint you but i just read didn't join.
I used to be a good cook and i still am I guess.... but i don't bother to make for complicated stuff anymore. After all it's just me.
I love my fruits and vegetables and my salmon or other fish.
OK....time for glass of water i must be thirsty right Chris?
-
Sorry Sheila.......thought you said you joined for free................see when I'm sober i don't know what the hell is going on.................better go find the friggin Vodka................I make more sense when I drink......................hahahahahahaha

A belated "Happy New Year" from the West Coast. Unseasonably warm here. Yesterday it reached 80!
I have been working long hours and it takes so long to read to catch up here, that I have no time to post!
Diane! You poo rthing, I cannot imagine the strength it took to not say something out loud to your DIL. A couple years ago we spent Christmas with my DS & DIL. She was so rude throughout the visit that I told him we were leaving early. It took everything I had to not just tell DIL what I thought of everything she had put us through...oops...I did tell her! Communication was sparse for awhile, but it got better, and she got over it.

thanks for checking in Meece...you are missed.
Seyla, how come you didn't join, me I need to lose but not ready yet...want to eat what I want, bad enough chemo is getting on my nerves without me doing that...
YEA THEY ARE GONE, the were fighting but went and they have counseling today I think so they will be later than normal, so I can sit in my livingroom in peace and quiet...
Dogs need food, but I don't want to go out....it is about 25.....and the boys don't wear coats, really neither do I.....whatever....
Ducky....how are you over there?
Sandy

Sandy...That's also my wish to meet in person since we know each other so well. ♥♥♥

Blondie, went out this morning with my daughter to Price-Rite.....she wanted to buy split chicken breast to make homemade soup........................it was so friggin cold I couldn't believe it.
So lthey had some really good buys..........escarole was only 99 cents a lb. so I bought a whole bunch ...........I'm going to make Italian Wedding Soup.............we just call it escarole soup, but others who are not italian call it Wedding Soup.............we also make something called Greens and Beans with garlic and shallots, so that is cooking
Will make my son his homemade soup tomorrow..........that is the son whose bitch of a wife left him Thanksgiving Day.......this is the 4th time, but his kids (who stayed with him), love homemade soup, and I will do anything to help him.........that is what we call.......Acini Pepe soup...........very good, and they had Cento, and Tuttotosa Puree for .99 cents too...............got a lot of cooking to do..................another son likes "garlic green beans, with crushed tomatoes", so I will make that for him, since the crushed tomatoes were on sale too................and I will make "cucuzza for my daughter.....that is zucchini with plum tomatoes, garlic and onions......................gonna be busy..........................but these are all great "cold weather dishes"..................and I love to cook................
Heard about the hit and run in Folcroft...................what a sad thing.............the poor guy is critical, and has kids.............so sad............
-
Happy New Year, Meece!
Boy, you're going to be busy, Ducky. I was thinking about doing a roast tomorrow, but after all that soup talk, maybe I'll do stew... Definitely good weather for soups.
Glad you have peace and quiet, Sandy.
Hope your tooth is okay, Linda.
A few pounds already?! You're doing great, Sheila. Keep up the good work! (We don't want you to drown yourself, though

Went to the dentist on the wrong morning. What an idiot! I will be visiting them again tomorrow.
Just got in from my walk. OMG ITS FRIGGING FREEZING! My thighs are red and frozen, so is my but. My friend and I kept laughing about how cold it was. It's really 'normally' this cold but we have not had a normal winter! I'm having tea now. I'd rather poor it over my legs.
Ducky, you are making me soooooo hungry! I love to cook too!
Glad the boys are behaving today.
