Thinking Out Loud.....

Rebekah's coming home for Mem. Day weekend, Nick is traveling so she decided to fly here for a few days. Can't wait. Pickity Place Saturday.
-
The weather better be nice.
-
Im very happy for you Deb.

Christine is coming on July 1st for 2 weeks.

-
Lucky both of you!!! And here I am wishing my kids would go away, lol. That will change!
-
Too funny Linda. When they get older they realize how much you love them.
-
PEEP -
LOL - I was thinking the same thing.
So glad you will be spending time with your babies, ladies.
I was just looking at some video clips on the Weather Channel. After seeing the devastation in Joplin, MO, I'm not sure I want the sun to come out after all.
-
It is so sad to watch the footage of MO.
-
I am curious to know - have any of you experienced a twingy/burning feeling in the bad breast? It's not particularly painful, but it is new and not in the surgical area so I am thinking it is not nerves regenerating a year later?
-
RCG it still hurts after 15 years if someone pushes on it.
DEB and SEYLA so happy for the two of you, seeing our children grow to be productive adults, responsible adults is so satisfying...
Linda too depressing not watching it....
Don't get mammos anymore, went to the onc today, have the injection tomorrow and then scanned in 2 weeks, tm went up so have to figure out whether to stay with the treatment we are doing, the tumor in the lung (which you can see with the eye, the lump) is sort of getting bigger, but it has gone to my bones in my neck and ribs but he wants another done of falsodex and then he will see......
-
Thank you Blondie - good to know. Sorry to hear about the mets - I will keep my fingers crossed that the Falsodex is helpful.....
Do most oncs use the tumor marker test? Mine doesn't...
-
(((♥Sandy♥)))
-
Sheila, nor does mine.
-
Hope the next dose kicks a$$ for you, Sandy.
Oooh- Sheila - AI is on tonight AND tomorrow? Are you excited?
(((((((((Everyone))))))))))
-

YES I AM

-
Diane..I did experience some weird stuff in my breast,
This was almost 4.5 years later. Dull pain coming and going.
I saw my BS after taking myself to ER for an US.
There was nothing. BS explained to me after my poor breast went through...that it was normal.
This was my experience.
Mine does TM test.
-
My left TATA stills acts up from time to time. Pinchy feelings and tenderness.
(((((((((Sandy))))))) I hope it kicks cancer butt also.
My onc does TM's and I wish she never did. I have to go back July 22. Follow up of BW I will have to have done a week B4 the appt. Like I said previously, if my CA 27-29 is abnormal, I am going to demand a CT scan or something. This really bothers me.
-
Well Deb that is why scanning cause the TM went up it was 205 2 months ago and is 256 today (what is with bold) The falsodex is not working we knew that cause I have been on it and the in the bones is new since I started doing it, you know he said today that some work on some cancers and not on others.....yes he uses TM but not totally, my friend asked that and he said not in totality, meaniing along with the scans which is what he definately goes by, but the tm are indicators sometimes. They can go up and down. mine are going up and going down, one 1 one down...it is traveling that is what I said today to the dr. and to my friend, it is all good...thanks for your support
-
The CA 27-29 can be elevated for other reasons that I read about. Ovarian cancer, colon, liver, lungs, (I used to smoke, quit when I was dx), and for B9 reasons, uterine fibroid, which I have, and cysts. So that is why I want a CT scan to find out why. She said to me, "I never tested for a baseline, SO WHAT! Find out the reason why this has been going on since November 10, 2010.
-
(((((Sandy))))
RCG, could be the everlasting rads causing your twinges. Happened to me. I was amazed at how long the radiated breast was 'warm' compared to the other.
Good night all!
-
Tomorrow is the big day.
Salvation Army is coming so I might not be around.
It's between 8-3. I hope they come early. Leaving the house around 7:45 AM.
I did all the last things today.
Good Night Everyone!♥
-
Sheila - you are a workhorse! Good for you!
-
My onc does the TM test.
My "bad breast" acts up by intense itching. The water from the shower hitting it can send it into a red irritated itching mass! Sometimes it hurts with a stabbing pain. I just go through it. I mean I have so many scans each year, I would hope that if any of this was related they would find it in an expeditied manner.

Im home with nothing done.

Salvation Army refused to take anything because it was not real wood, furnitures are mildly faded.
I was

I saw the building manager and explained to her. She said we take care of everything but you don't get the one month security deposit back.
I was so happy.......I said please keep the deposit. So I don't have to do anything just I'm gonna go a last time and leave the keys on the table.
I wasn't a happy person this morning. Got so cranky.
Its beautiful outside but I decided to stay home and not to be in contact with people.
THank You.
-
((((Sheila))))
-
Deb does the test continue to go up? How often are you getting the tm done. My cancer is active that is why he does it every other month...

I had a test done in November and one in March, the one in March was just 3 points above normal. I think it was 42.8 it went down from the November one. She had a surprised look on her face when she saw the November test, that is what scared me. But the other tests were all in the normal range. It's probably something else that is elevating that test, I'll find out July 22.
