How are you Raj, we've missed you!
♥Sheila♥
-
Yeah ! I am good. I missed you all. I could not come because of my internet problem. I bought a new device to hang around with you all. Hope everyone is in high spirit amidst BC treatment.
-
Hi Raj - nice to see you back.
Today's whine - I went for a haircut because I needed one but also because it was behaving oddly and I thought she might suggest a different product. She tells me that my hair is changing, similar in texture as during chemo (baby fine) but not falling out, "just" thinning. That is why it is being difficult. Thank you BC.
-
Can you do anything for that?
-
Yes, I can buy some expensive product - but for now, I went with a pretty short haircut. The thinning isn't obvious, it is just affecting what kind of hair day I have.
OMG it is 74 - haven't been that warm since last October. Sun is gorgeous.
-
Waterlogged here. Sun came out for about an hour. Should have known it wouldn't last. Raining again now. Uh- now it's thundering.
-
Femara ate my head hair.
Everything else remained the same.
What a shame

-
Waterlogged here too. Kind of humid. We are having a cookout under a huge tent after the companies Q1 meeting. I'm going to dress real warm.
-
Sheila - I wonder if your head hair will thicken up now that you're off the Femara? I hope so.
Deb - I hope the rain stops/doesn't start up again for your cookout and isn't too chilly for you.
I hope we get a nice Memorial Day weekend after going through all this rainy weather this spring.
-
Me too! This is day 8 of rain, no sun. UGH! Memorial Day weekend I have baseball games all weekend and have to work at the Baseball snack shack. I think I willbring a bottle of wine to make it fun. LOL. Maybe they will kick me out, gee, that would be terrible!
-
It is still raining, it started at 315 went into the hospital to get the blood work done came out to thunder and lightening, so both of the games were canceled and they weren't happen got into a fight, punching was involved, but it wasn't me so that is a plus and then Michael went out....yea...they really need to work on their anger....We have no baseball on MD weekend, so hopefully I can go to the shore, that would work, lol take the wine, put it in something where they think it is water or soda or something, that works.....Andrew has a game tomorrow at 615 but again supposed to rain until saturday...
Seyla how r u?
R J welcome back, sorry about your internet issues.....
BTW, sick of the rain!!!
-
I hope MD is nice and warm too. As for the Cookout, it is all up to Mother Nature.
-
I asked DH if he put filters on the computers and he said no, but Google has "safe search" filtering options you can set. Ours is set to moderate. On the google home page in the upper right corner is an icon that I think is a gear (?) If you click on it, it will give you a drop down menu where you can select search settings. Then you will get a page where you can set your preferences. Scroll down a bit and you can find where you can change the search filter.
You can also change the language to Afrikaans if you want to see what language my GPS was talking to me in. lol
-
LOL chris
-
hee hee
((((((Sheila)))))) -
It got so cold here. It feels like winter.
-
Sheila - I hope everything tomorrow goes smoothly. Be sure and have some dessert before you go:)
My FIL is flying here from Boston tonight - he has had enough of the weather and so is coming for about a month. Due to heavy rain, the flight was delayed so it will be a long day for him.
Oh, who got kicked off tonight on AI?
-
HALEY.
I cant have dessert at 8 in the morning. They will throw me out from the church

Thanks Diane
-
You can have dessert at 8 a.m. the priests do during there service. lol.
Best wishes for today. I'm thinking of you. ♥
-
Thinking of you today, Sheila.
Some time ago I saw a news segment about financial planning, so I went to their website...well I thought I remembered the name. "Money Talks" I had no idea! DH wanted to go to a vetranarian's website and he thought it was by the guy's name, "Doc Johnson". We had a good laugh over those misakes after we recovered from the shock!
-
Lol! I just googled those sites too. Apparently I have no filters on my laptop. Thanks, Meece, now I know where to go if I need any sex toys!
-
I don't know Linda i think you are having porn problems.
Well We are back home. My father is with my mother now.
Tomorrow my aunt will join them

RPOC showed his face too. I have nothing to say good or bad.
Natalie always stayed with me so his relatives.
It was a nice service and the weather was really good.
Thank You All for staying in m,y pocket.
At one point in the church I smiled just Thinking about All of you

♥♥♥
-
Glad you could smile today Sheila. Wishing you brighter days ahead!
-
(((((((Sheila)))))))
Glad the weather cooperated.
Hope you can enjoy some dessert now.
Pop up thunderstorm here now. Hope the storms die down before tonight. DS is doing the Boy Scout Order of the Arrow ordeal this weekend. Camping "under the stars" (making their own shelter, I think) and doing work tomorrow. Don't want them getting caught in nasty weather. Hope the ground isn't too wet either. I told him to pack plenty of extra clothes in case it's wet. We'll see if he listens.
(((((((Everyone))))))))
-
Shiela, you are missing them and they knew how much you loved them, but continue to take care of yourself.
I am so sick of he rain, doesn't mother nature know it is baseball season and we are sick of being in the house....Anyway, I remember those days with myself and hated it, a Winnebago is my idea of camping....
-
Yeah- I'm not too fond of sleeping on the ground anymore. We have a pop-up camper. Went camping with the kids in a tent about 8 years ago. It rained hard and the water seeped into our tent. Luckily we had crossed paths with BIL- he was leaving the day we arrived and he had an inflatable mattress. So DH and I slept on the mattress and the kids put their sleeping bags on a couple of blow-up rafts. We put our stuff on a couple "space blankets" and trash bags to keep the rest of our stuff off the wet floor. Not optimal, but we made do. Next year we got the pop-up camper. I do get a little nervous during thunderstorms though- don't think they are much better than tents for safety. Winnebago would be better.

Hope you can get outside for some baseball games this weekend, Sandy.
-
And that is why I prefer camping out, in.
-
Getting ready to have my emergency frozen dinner. YUCK!!!!!
-
It must be a real emergency! Is it too wet to go get white pizza?
-
Had enough white pizza. I wasnt in a mood for OCF.
I have salmon in the freezer but I didnt feel like cooking.
