I went outside today to check my garden. (Yucky wind and overcast today, not good gardening weather.)  To my surprise I had three of my bargain Asparagus starts sending up new stalks!  I planted the rest of them and will hope for the same.  What a bargain at on 60 cents!

You must have a very gifted green thumb Meece!  My herbs are doing extremely well but my tomatoes, not so much.  Perhaps the lack of sun can be blamed.

I have so many tomato plants, many of them were volunteers from last year.  I should be able to harvest some in the next couple of weeks, although I have been eating the yellow pear ones from my greenhouse as quicly as they ripen.

Are you talking about the ones that clamp to a stake?

This is the style I like because I can make it larger and start the braces lower and raise them as the plants grow.

My garden is off to a slow start due to the cold wet weather.  Tomato plants are doing good though, which is strange.  I would love to plant some asparagus!

Parade was rained out, but there was a ceremony held in the high school auditorium.  DD played Taps - perfectly.  I'm so proud.  Then she went over to an assisted living facility on the other side of town to play Taps for a ceremony they held there.  Little flub.  Boy who played the echo had a little flub too.  Could have used a little warm up, I think.  But it was appreciated just the same.  Such an honor to be able to play Taps.

Not raining here either in the 90s apparently not outside and don't plan on going out, great Deb, glad she made it safe....congrats to the daughter Chris......and Shela my dream always to live there, not just visit!!!

I have a house on the Cape.......well my parents do, but it'sin my name.........along with my 4 brothers and sisters..........so I guess I have a quarter house on the beach.  I'll have you all there someday!
