Thinking Out Loud.....

I don't blame you, I would not put chemicals on my lawn if I had well water. I don't spray weed killer near my flower beds so if the dandylions are close to the flower beds I will use that handy tool to dig them up.
-
We can make some Dandelion Wine.
-
Believe me, I have enough to make several barrels of wine. I will make it and send it to Sheila! They go away in a few weeks, until then I will enjoy their blooms!
-
OMG I did something so stupid by mistakely TOL was removed from my favorites for almost 2 hours.
Deb...I never heard dandelion wine before. Does it taste like ZIN? Is it sweet and light?
-
I will make mine light and sweet for you Sheiila! I'm glad you found your way back to us.
Good night!

When we returned from RFL, DH had a few things he wanted to get done. He wanted to mow the lawn which spurred me to weed some of the flower beds and then got the head trimmer out and cleaned up some bushes, which lead me to trim some on the trees.
Then he wanted to was wash the vehicles, so I detailed out the inside of my car. Cleaned the carpet and upholstery. Then I washed all the windows in the front of the house so I could put the screens back on.
I couldn't stay too long at RFL because of my allergies, so when I went to bed last night I took an allergy pill. Unfortunately I had an adverse affect from it and could NOT sleep. I may have got 3 hours total in the past 10 hours.

Oh, Oh, Oh! We went to Walmart and I found asparagus starts (The parts you plant) for .10 each. I hope they will sprout, but I needed to fill some spots in my asparagus bed. Yummy!

What a colorful happy page.
Have a nice day. The weather is just gorgeous here.

Good Afternoon! Boy Meece, I got tired just reading all the things you cleaned! Come on over!
Off to soccer in a bit, bring DS GF for a surprise. Joy! He came in 3rd place yesterday for the state finals in his SKILLUSA competition. Pretty good since it is usually all Jrs and Snrs and he is a sophmore. -
Congrats to your son, mak.
I am all in but my shoelaces today. Litle sleep and lots of chores. Now I feel like I have so much to do, but it will have to wait after a nap.
-
I'm tired reading about all Meece did and just thinking about all the games and practices Linda goes to. Congrats on DS's accomplishment! So nice to be a proud parent.
I hope we are as productive today at our house as you were, Meece. We're going to be grilling tonight, so I'll be making potato salad and pasta salad and the trifle on the back of the Betty Crocker Angel food cake mix - except with strawberries instead of raspberries. I will try to get outside and clean the lawn furniture. Last year I didn't do it - ultimate in laziness. Should be a nice day - I hope I can make myself do it.
Got new running shoes yesterday too. Expensive - went to one of those stores that looks at how your feet move when you walk, etc. and really try to help you get the right shoes. And I got some inserts for my arches. I hope they don't hurt too much. They said not to wear them too much at first. I'll have to figure out how I want to try to accomplish that. I don't want to cut my already-too-short run shorter to get my feet used to the inserts. They cost more than I was expecting. I hope it wasn't a waste of money. AND I bought a new running bra. Should have tried it on - too small. Fatso. I was afraid I was stuck in it - had trouble getting it back over my shoulders trying to take it off, but I got myself out of it. Not sure I can wear the the larger size - boobs are wide, but not deep - so cups are usually too big for me in the size I need. Hint - I need a smaller body. DUH!
-
And DD is still miserable with her cold. I want a magic wand so I can make her feel better. All the meds I've told her to take aren't helping enough.
-
I hate bra shopping. The bras I find are too wide and I spill over in the middle.
-
Seyla how r u feeling today? I went to work a couple of days and I feel better. Went to oldest sons's softball game, the twins were supposed to play with him and they didn't need them, they have been waiting for a very long time to play sports with their big brother, well they didn't play today so another time....Macy's tomorrow for 4 hours, it is friends and family everything including coach is 25% off, not electronics!!!
-
When Rebekah was in school it was cheer leading and field hockey. Maybe one of these days I will be driving around grandkids.
It has been a long time since I was in Macy's, there is one right at the Pheasant Lane Mall.
Well, someone was productive today***DH and I were up B4 7 and out of the door @ 7:30am to go to the Londonderry Flea Market, pretty good crowd. You see all sorts of strange things there. I posted the pic on FB.
-
I saw the pix what did you buy?
-
I bought some of those nylon squishys that are good for Dove bodywash soap and a garden decoration I hung on a tree in my yard. I think I put it on FB.
-
Good Morning.
Obama is gone!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!
Must get out of hear and do some grocery shopping. Have a good day all!
-

YEA....IT IS A WONDERFUL DAY TO BE AN AMERICAN!!!
-
You mean Osama Bin Laden.
-
Freudian Slip, LOLOLOL
-
Mowed the lawn again, just did it last Wed. It was beautiful out and I enjoy doing it.
How is everyone?
-
fine and annoyed at these boys, they ar both going to fail 11th grade, they just don't care anymore, are walking out of school, not going to classes, I don't know what to do, can't make them go drive them and it is up to them to do the work.....
-
Linda! Mowing your own grass? How much do you have? We have a riding lawnmower for ours...acre. Now wishing that we didn't have so much grass since the kids are 11 and 16, and not playing in it anymore.
Whoop whoop, Osama is dead! Although I'm confused as to why they buried him at sea...

Burley - as I understand it, it is tradition.
