Son is far south of the affected area. He will not need to evacuate at all.
-
Meece..thats good about Matt.
To all who are having tests today i will be thinking of you.
Those with elderly parents patience!
Those who are not worried about anything today good for you.
See you all later..............
Its like summer outside.

There are people who don't worry about things? I would like to be one opf them!
Hope you find your corned beef. I am not a fan.
It's beautiful here too. Going to pick my son up soon for an orthodontists appt and then I'm walking. It's so nice!
-
OMG...I walked around with a teashirt today.
Did lot of walking this week and didnt stuff my face with food.
I went to see my father. He is OK not cranky, some nonsense complaints.
But i didnt let them bother me.
I got the phone so people can call him in the hospital..
Now almost its my time to relax 20 minutes and counting.........
-
Sandy, I hate that commercial too. I hate all the bc commercials. Why are they on 24/7. Hope you are doing okay.
It was Tshirt weather here too. Just got back in from walking with DH after dinner. I already did about 5 miles earlier but it's just so nice, I made him walk too. He needs too!
-
There is another commercial about smoking. The man cant breath
When that comes on I mute it right away.
Feeling sleepy tonight
-
Go to bed early Sheila. It;s all the out door walking that's making us sleepy.
-
11;30 will be early enough for me.
Good Night♥
-

-
I'm glad I stopped smoking, it will be 4 years in April.
Yes, it was a beautiful day today and Happy St. Patricks Day, I know is a little late but I have been busy. Did my Dad's laundry, seems like I do it every other day, no thanks to my sister.
-
Good Morning!
The Orchards looks beautiful, have fun Sandy!! -
Shoot! I came home from the onc, and wrote up a post for this thread, but must have forgot to hit submit!
My web browser has started something quirky today. When I open a thread, it starts up at the top of the page. Before it always went to the last place I read or posted. Is anyone else having this problem? Did BC.Org do something or is it just my puter?
-
Same thing is happening to me Meece, since yesterday...
-
I hate it. Maybe BC.org did something.
-
Yes Meece mine is doing the same thing since the BCO improvements yesterday.
Good morning......70' today. If nobody interested i will take a walk to the park or anywhere all by myself. I'm skipping seeing my father today. He knows. i go tomorrow.
He is on the same floor where i received all my treatments. With Herceptin once a week i was there for almost 16 months. I know some nurses on that floor which we became close. And one of those nurses was assigned to him. It was bitter sweet when I saw her we hugged and hugged...........Coffee time
Sandy ..I hope you take some pictures of the veggies
-
It takes me forever to write im still one finger type.
Diane...how are you/ Do you want to take a walk with me ?
-
I'll meet you Sheila!
Yes, I am having the same prob with BCO.
-
A power walk sounds lovely, especially in the sunshine. I warn you that I don't walk quietly, my husband says my mouth moves as fast as my feet
I am fine just having some problem with my neck/shoulder. Advil and heat are helping, probably tension or something.
Have a lovely day and let's hope BCO fixes things.
Are any of my TOL friends German or bread bakers? I need to find a good recipe for a bread I really like....
-
Diane..That wont be a problem i love to talk. Take care of your pain.
So far its you Linda and me.
What is this news I heard that small amount of Radiation reached California.
-
Boy, I hope it hasn't reached Cal.!
I love to talk and listen to so it will work!
Love bread but don't eat it anymore ;(. Sometimes I treat myself but it has to be earthy crunchy!
-
Water is your friend
water is your friend
Water water water nothing else..................
-
Diane - What kind of bread do you like? I've gotten lazy lately but for over 30 years I never bought bread. I've got quite of few good recipes.
-
Diane...i love bread but i hardly eat it.
My DD used to make blue cheese bread in her old job she was the bread maker.
All Delicous but i dont know much about baking.
-
Yes they say minute particles of radiation have reach the West Coast, but so diluted that they are not harmful. We'll see.
-
What did I miss about you having to type one fingered, Seyla?
-
This one is very healthy. It is a moist and dense whole grain rye with tons of seeds and I think it is called Vollkonbort or close to that. It is locally sold by Tall Grass Bakery but I have otherwise never seen it before. Chabba, would love if you came up with it. I have googled and found a few options but would rather someone said they have done it with a particular recipe..
-
Meece...I was just saying Im not a good typer and only type with one finger.
Diane I hope you find something to make. BTW how is PT? I found that grain you were talking about, forgot the name now it comes white, red and another color. I didnt know which one to buy.
Reached 76 today.
-
I love whole grain bread, 7 grain bread, rye, pumpernickle etc etc.
I don't know if you all caught my TOL about my DD cat Smokey. It has been confirmed, he has cancer in both kidneys. Some kind of lymphoma. She has been crying off and on and so have I. We got him when he was just days old, he was abandon by his mom and my DD's X brought him home. But he has had a good life and she will put him down in about a week. He is not showing any signs of being sick except for weight loss. The vet said he has just a few months even with meds.
-
chris....where are youuuuuuuu
Fuzzy.......Hellooooooooooooooooo
Im activating the Amber Alert for Adults
-
I was worried that you had injured yourself, Seyla!
