Thinking Out Loud.....

Makraz ! so oftenly I got confused to see on most of you using capital letters in place of the actual word. who is BBB ? again I am more confused.
-
I'll let Linda or Sheila explain. I understand many of them only because I ask.
-
BBB is Sheilas Boyfriend. He works at a store called Bed, Bath and Beyond, hence the BBB.
-
Boy friend of sheila ? That,s nice somthing like coding.
-
raj...The one that is invisible.
I like to go to that store so my friends here always joking with me.
-
I love that store as well, but Dh would be unhappy if he thought I had a BBB.
-
Obviously, you know we have a tradition , once married it is life time we have to stick with the one whether he /she is good or bad .. Isn,t it funny ? which totally different from western tradition. Separation/divorce is always a big issue here.
-
raj....I have been divorced for 30 years now.
Here is not really a big issue.
But I preferred to stay single after everything I suffered during marriage.
I'm content with my life.
-
OMG Sheila - you mean BBB is invisible and can appear as needed? Kind of like "I Dream of Jeannie?
What does the red box signify? Are Ma and Pa Kettle in there?
-
LOL!!!
Red box = picture did not post = good luck in India.
-
Yes Diane..He can make himself invisible when its needed so the neighbors don't see him coming and going.
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
-
So that is why you can't photograph him, due to this special skill
-
Yeah ! sheila you are very lucky. I also had suffered lots particularly from inlaws side. They didnt want me because of my aristocratic family background. I frequently run away as I was very young that time. I got married while in high school, because of my early marriage I could not complete my graduation . I had completed only after my youngest was borne and started working just to get some liberty. Ours is damed orthodox. I always have a good impression on western culture where there is no supression and everyone has got the liberty to choose.

Sheila and BBB
-
lovely couple ! nice to see them as if dancing in the rain.
-
raj - attitudes on marriage still vary some here, especially among the older generations. Both my husband and I meant it when we vowed until death do us part and I think that vow has helped us over a couple of difficult times. If he had turned out to be an abuser I'm sure I would have left him instead of staying with him for 45 and counting on many more years. I do agree, however, that far to many Americans marry for the short term, the until we get tired of eachother or until we aren't having fun any more kind of marriages.
-
I have to go to fold the wash and a take a shower.
I'm having a big bowl of avocado salad and grilled chicken.
Tomorrow i have MH and on my way home need to pick up some veggies and fruits.
See you all later.
8-9:30Pm phone will be off the hook. BBB and I will be watching American Idol.
♥

I agree Chabba!! Well said and congrats on 45 years! This is my 20th year and I can't wait for 20 more, and then 20 more etc.
Wednesday used to be Prince spaghetti day, now is MH day!
-
Chabba ! I do appreciate your idea. almost 33 yrs. no alternative !
-
Congrats to you too Raj. I hope you are happy.
-
Yeah! I am always a happy person.
-
-
Thanks. We still have a few months to 45th anniversary but we met 45 years ago 45 years ago last Tuesday, and got engaged on March 13th. But he did tell me a week ago that he still wants to stay together till death dose us part and plans on another 45. I kind of doubt we will make it quite that far. lol
-
I made it 22 years with my aqbussive husband. I just couldn't do it anymore, especially since I knew I had cancer (he didn't) I knew his selfishness would allow me to die. The abuse was the divorce factor, I would have still been there if it were just the other rough times.
-
That is the right decision of yours, meece.
-
I can honestly say if we remained married I wouldn't be here today.
And my 2 daughters would be runaways or something bad like that.
Thank You God for taking him away from me.
I feel good when I read Happy Marriages or second marriages.
By the way I'm clean. Can you smell my shampoo.
-
sheila ! I can smell the purity of the fragrance.
