Thinking Out Loud.....

Yes Meece is right.
I dont know what to do with my time today because I feel lazy and dont feel like doing anything.
Im bored
-
My snowblower was doing the same thing. No matter which you you blew the snow, the wind would blow it back in your face!
Sheila, do you want to come over and go sledding?
-
Yes I do.
-
Come on over! BTW there are 7 boys and 1 girlin my basement........bring ear plugs!!
-
I'm pooped and my arms ache. 4 day work week then 3 more days off. Then go for BW B4 my colonoscopy which will be Jan 10, start the prep Jan 8th nothing but fluids for 2 days then drink that crap that makes you crap.
-
(((DEB))) That's got to be tough with AF's.
-
The rad onc felt I should not be this fatigued at this point and so he ordered blood work for blood count, vit d, and thyroid.....
Sheila - today is a good day to feel lazy, don't feel guilty about it.
Deb - Hope the trees dont fall and you get warmed up.
Linda - I was that house too. Most of those kiddo's still come to visit me at this point. In fact, one got very offended that I hadn't told him about my BC. I didnt realize how much he felt part of our family but since he went on all our vacations and was always here on holidays, I should have.
-
OMG, luckily I got to take the pills for that......Shiela, if we all lived closer we could hang out!!
-
RCG, So many kids come here and tell me this is there home away from home. I'm happy they enjoy it here.
Hopefully this sign will post. So Bawston!
-
LOL!!!
-
So far the AF has not bothered me or bled. The doctor that will perform the procedure knows what I have.
-
i hope everybody understands what AF is. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was one of those houses too.
They called it very cozy and practically they were here all the time.
Just remember I only have a 1 bedroom apt.
They just loved it here. All squeezed in that bedroom and loud happiness.
Thanks God they grew up normal humans. Nothing from you know who was transferred to my DD"s. For that I'm grateful.
-
They are wonderful girls!! (women)
-
I was lucky that very little of my "you know who" transferred to my boys. Of course when we were alone, I let the boys know which behaviors were unacceptable in my book.
-
Oh, I love the sign! Is it real, Linda?
-
Awesome sign.
Glad to hear you had help with your driveway, Sandy. My DH saw our neighbor out shoveling. His snowblower is broken. And he had surgery earlier this year, so DH went over and told him he'd do it. So our neighbor supervised and showed my DH where the walk was, etc. so he didn't run over any landscaping. Thank God for snowblowers - they make it so much easier. Even if the snow does blow back in your face.
I'm hoping my DD will have friends over more when the basement is done. Her room is so tiny - no room to do anything and it's always a mess anyway. I think there will be fights between the 2 kids, though. My DS, who has pretty much taken over the back porch, will probably want the basement too! That will be fun to deal with.
Glad your kids got the good traits and learned good behavior from you. I'm afraid mine got a lot of bad traits and not the good ones from us. The jury is still out on my kids. Time will tell. Works in progress.

For supper, baked beans and fish cakes. I open up a can of Friends Baked Beans, add one half of an onion and about 5tb of real maple syrup. That is the way my Mom used to make them.
-
I finished the tenderloin. For someone who doesn't eat meat, I sure had a lot of it the past few days. Back to Salmon and AG tomorrow.
Yes, that's a real sign.
-
Yum, I love tenderloin, beef and pork. A few nights ago I cooked a small pork tenderloin, rolled it in garlic and sage, braised to brown for 4 mins then roasted until the temp read 140 or 150. It is almost gone. Had AG for supper also. Goodness, AG and Baked Beans, TOOT TOOT!!
-
I made a beef and rubbed it with tyme and sage, garlic and salt and pepper. Make a sauce with shallots, pearl onions and cherry tomatoes. It was yummy.
Going to bed early. So tired from all the shoveling!
-
I am making white asparagus, brussel sprouts, quinoa, and chicken....almost ready
Oh. and the sign is wicked pissah!
-
LOL!! A true Northeasterner! Wicked pissah!
-
Linda, I stole it and posted it on facebook. Thanks!
-
quinoa???????????????
thats what i missed my AG. Its been almost 2 weeks i didnt have any.
-
Ok ladies, I am new here, you all sound so fun. Can I join? Just 1 more question what is AG?
Becky
-
Oh Becky....Welcome and welcome to this fun and sometimes serious thread. Whatever your mood is for that moment.
AG= Asparagus
-
Quinoa is an ancient grain originating with the Inca's. It is really good mixed with brown rice, which is what I did. There, now you know that I really wanted to be a culinary anthropologist.
will you be able to get out tomorrow?
-
Even the mail didnt come today.
hopefully but i have to walk on the street.
-
I googled it looks like acini pepe and couscous.
Is it firm or soft after its cooked?
-
It is fairly firm, not as firm as farro but moreso than acini. It is a red/brown color.
The white asparagus was terrible, stringy and tasteless.
