Thinking Out Loud.....

Fourth of July, DH and I head to winecountry and Dh is BBQ-ing for a winery. I will just help out where ever. Having Lobster and Lambchops. Mmmmmmm.
I miss having little boys who got all excited about fireworks. Sigh......
-
Deb...I can breath better now. I never got an MRI.
I don't like skirts either but cotton plain summer dresses I love.
4th will be at the father of my children's home. Which I'm going because my both DD's will be there and I was invited. Looking forward but not the 92 degree weather.
my eye is still purple all around it faded little since yesterday. My ankle is all blue and yellow but not swollen. I wrapped it before i put shoes on just in case LOL
-
Happy to hear your getting better!!
-
I went to the Chiropractor today, and he was taken aback by the back of my ankle, black, purple, green. He asked what had happend to me, and I explained...the shopping cart won. Two weeks ago I was rammed by a shopping cart at Home Depot. I have now renewed my fear of walking in front of or near a cart. So, Seyla...We can be twins, but I will have to go wild with my purple eyeshadow. No one would give your eye a second look once they saw me by your side!!!

Oh, I signed on too late again and missed the party
I am skipping the beach this weekend and just putting my feet in the backyard pool instead. I am freaking out because this silly abdominal wound is not getting better! I was told to just put Intrasite gel on it...and it is only the first day doing this so I think I will "chill" as my 16yr old says. Why do i have to have a complication? My breast also had a blister that broke and is now dry and covered with eschar. I think I am doing too many chores as my arms are killing me now...maybe lifting too much. Ok, tomorrow I am going to spend the day with my feet up! Sound good?

MRDRN....After my radiation was over i decided everything was fine and went on my knee to scrub the floor. What a big mistake. The next day my right side ribs were so much in pain. I went to see the radiation Oncologist who sent me for an xray.
Everybody in the office made sure i didn't scrub the floor like that for a long time.
So even when you feel okay take it easy. No need for unnecessary complications. YES?
Have a Good Night everyone.
-
MRDRN.................................CHILL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You need to heal and get better! Listen to your 16 year old, it's probably the only good advice she will have for you for a few years!! LOL!! Hope you are healing and feeling better.
Good Morning Ladies!
-
Having oatmeal. Breakfast or lunch
So far I paid my bills and straightened the house from last evening.
Later i will take a walk its a nice day again.♥
-
Hope you are all having a nice day. I only have my children in my house right now.....kinda weird! It wont last long.
-
I'm having salmon and a salad with Avocado.
I did little more shopping today.
The way things are I almost got to my normalcy once my eye clears up.
Linda Are you leaving tomorrow?
-
On Sat, early morning. It's about a 3-3.5 hour ride. I will be in touch!
Gotta go eat dinner. I'm starved!
-
At least when you are the house the kids all want to be at, you know where they are, and in most cases, what they are doing, Linda.
-
That's exactly why I do it Meece! I want to know where my kids are, who they are with and what they are doing. I gave up my career to do it. Sometimes I would rather be back at work, but deep down I know this is what I need to be doing. I just wish I could get paid for it! LOL!!
-
Linda you are a wonderful mother. thats what I tried to do in this 1 bedroom apartment.
They loved to come and spend time here. Boys and girls. No restrictions.
I strongly believe if you are extremely strict parent they will do bad things behind your back.
Good Night
PS:A skunk got excited outside I'm chocking and my eyes are burning.
-
My kids' friends would tell them I was a cool mom. I took that as a compliment. I ended up with three wonderful, mostly well behaved, young men.
-
So glad to hear I have (at least) two awesome Moms to help me through the teenage years!
Good morning!
-
The road will become rocky in their teenage years.
I call it Teenage SE. I also went through that but at the end things leveled up.
Good Morning
-
lol!!! Will become rocky!! He's 15, it's very rocky here!!
SE??? Side effects? sucky evolution, sorry everyone,..........hmmmmmmm......
-
He is 15!!!!! sorry Im still thinking he is younger. DD#1 went through her side effects around that age 9th grade i believe. She was high honor roll student. From that she fell to F. Even if it was a passing mark i would've been okay.
It took about 18 months to recover and I needed a recovery myself. It was so bad.
Than suddenly she became my nice daughter again and she was on Dean List throughout her college years. It was the most difficult time of my life.
Christine on the other hand started getting very cranky by the age of 18. But once you become an experience mother second child doesnt get on your last nerve. Patient and more patient.
I ended up watching the world cup which lasted almost 3 hours. i really enjoy myself. What a interesting and funny game it was.
Now I eat the rest of the salmon and A-G. And go out get a watermelon.

Wow you guys have been busy.....not too hot hear, again hate not having a car, the viewing for our friend is right now and it isn't too late to walk but don't feel well so am not, feeling guilty, who knows if I will go tomorrow. Really upset about my daughter reneging on the car, will let it go but for now am still feeling it. Went to chemo with my ex's cousin yesterday, it was a little painful for me, remembering what it was like 14 years ago, (i know it isn't about me, just the feelings cam flodding back) but for her, she has an IQ of about 75 really doesn't understand much, and never have seen inflammatory BC before, but the dr. is really encouraged with her progress and it isn't in her bones, which is awesome, she has son in jail and really wanting to see him and he gets out in December, I think...I am so proud of her, her hair is falling out and she lost 10 lbs but is taking it like a champ. Glad you all are ok and keep making me laugh with your "talk" wish we could all "meet" somewhere for a weekend, would love to see you all in person.....bbl
Sandy

Sandy...So nice you went with her. Its normal to remember things from the past.
After my fall when they wheeled me to cat scan area. For few seconds everything became so scary because this is the first time I was in the catscan since 2005.
I wish we could all meet in person one day.
I mean this from the bottom of my heart.
-
me too at the beach!!!
-
definitely at the beach someday!!
Thanks for the encouragement!
Sandy, so sorry about your friend. I hope you get to go tomorrow. ALso you are a Saint for taking your ex's cousin. I can imagine the feelings it brings back for you. Same thing happens to me when I do certain things.
Packing up, leaving tomorrow a.m. WIll be online unless they lost their wifi!
-
thanks Linda no said, just giving back, was thrilled that my friend went with me....don't know what I would have done without her....have a wonderful time on vaca....
-
Happy 4th of July.
-
Happy Fourth to you too!
-
Have a safe trip.
♥
-
Good morning! I am awake now!
-
Linda, I remember my eldest son in those 13-15 years. I was so glad he was not a girl, because his hormonal swings were bad enough. I could tell him "no snack before dinner" and it would bring a flood of emotion. It scared me to death to think about having to go through it two more times! But, I did get through it, and the next two were much easier!
-
Meece...Yea I hear ya, 2 16 year olds in the house is awful also, and did the girl thing and they are way worse. Linda so have a good time on vacation...MRDRN you know you better than anybody else and honestly I would stay home also...Seyla...have a good day and Deb where are u? Foots are you around...
