Can I come?
-
Yes!!! Wouldn;t that be great! I hope you like waterskiing and tubing for about 13 hours each day, then fishing and bon fires for the remaining time.
-
I love fishing. Its a safe sport for me right now.
-
I want to come too but way too much stuff for me, my idea of vacation is doing nothing unless of course if I am in FLA in DW...Anyway Seyla, my oncologist told me that mine was 84 when I was diagnosed and last week 53 and that 35 is normal......glad they are telling us the same things. Hi Meece, Foots adn Deb!!!
-
I all, nothing new here. DD and I are planning a hiking trip up Mt. Washington sometime in Aug aor Sept. Should be fun.
-
Sandy...i heard Tm can be over the normal limit still doesnt mean anything.
I think they start worrying if it really goes high from one visit to the next one.
DW???????????????????????????
Deep Water??????????????
-
Sandy, I do nothing but lounge in our boat. The kids waterski and tube. I kind of like it when the kids are trailing 35 feet behind me. It makes it hard to hear them talking! LOL!!
I'm guessing Disney World??????????
Good night!

Thanks ladies
I am so excited that the past three weeks have literally flown by! Here I am, a night owl again. Drove my son to football practice and trying to desparately cut back on pain meds but on the way home was about ready to crawl out of my skin with pain...so took two percocets, and had a great nap, and now that it is midnight, guess who is awake? Now I am pain free...just learning that I need to pace myself better with the household chores. I just read my post pre-op....wow...I was so nervous and now it is like a faded memory! Those two months of April and May had to be the most stressful of my life, You really do find out who your true friends are, don't you? One lady told me " I don't even make my own family dinners, so I told my co worker, how can make hers?"....today that same lady wanted to visit and I said ...actually I am pretty busy!!! On the other hand, another friend (and a few more) have really surprised me! They would pop in without a phone call and just bring a dinner, and check on my son, or arragne to get him where he needed, or my sis just showed up at the hospital and actualy stayed two nights without me inviting her....isn't that the best? When folks jump in and do things without being asked? I had no family living close by, so the few people that helped, will be forever on my gratitude list! Just sayin...
I just read the original topic thoughts...yes, the BC diagnosis made me invite my family to a special dinner on Memorial Day Weekend....I learned that my brother and sister and nephew and their families from several states really did care and had some wonderful hugs
BC can be sort of a wake up call, to start a new beginning...ok am I sounding really weird now?
Oh yes, and I LOVE home grown veggies! I just have tons of flowers though but LOVE to garden.
-
Welcome Mrdrn!! I think most of us were snoozing when you posted. I'm glad you are throught the most difficult part and have good friends to help you out. We are always here too!
-
Welcome MRDRN...Usually I'm up late. Stop by when you can.
Linda ....When I don't see your post first thing in the morning i feel very uneasy.
I'm glad you posted. Whats the agenda for today?
I'm home I really want to take a short walk but I don't know.
I will watch the world Cup match between Spain and Portugal. I don't really like sports but this and the Olympics are my favorites.
Late evening we all come to your pool and have some drinks. LOL
-
Sorry but sometimes I get to sleep in or I have to be somewhere early with the kids. Every day is different not.
My son has his ex gf over so I will be tailing them all day!! I know he just loves her! My youngest has a friend over and then I have the neighbors kids too. Full house as always.
My throat is sore!! My nose is stuffed! I better not be getting sick.
What are your plans for today. AG shopping after the World Cup??
-
Im having bowl of A-G for snack.
-
Sound's Yummy, Seyla. I harvested 33 pounds of potatoes on Sunday. I wish it had been 33 pounds of A.G.
-

-
Im very satisfied with my snack.
Imagine 33 pounds of A-G.
-

DD is off the UK tomorrow but this is a short visit, she will be home July 4th.
-
welcoe MRDRN...yep Disney World.....the TM well it is what it is....glad daughter will be home....I have to take the car back Friday....going to chemo with someone on thursday, and thinking of getting another tattoo, if I get my SSD on Friday...it is the beginning of something.
As I said not watching the kids anymore, guess it is good and bad, she will have to find someone else mnaybe will appreciate what I did and bad cause I will miss them...it will all work out, now I don't have to revolve my schedule around hers....although the car is gone I will eventuallly get one!! 4th of July plans, ladies? Me nothing!!! Want to go to the shore tomorrow, but no money so who knows...baseball is officially over they lost!!
-
Thanks for the welcome. 4th plans? I was going to go to the beach or "shore" HAHA but I am going to stay at my own home and chill . Just don't want to be in a hot car for hours.
We are planning a winter vacation after my revision surgery in October. I hope it will be ok to travel the next month?

To Be Continued later.............
Hi Deb
Hi Meece.
-
I didn't. I went shopping and bought 2 beach dresses. I'm not a dress person so that's how I deescribe them!
Now I have to iron.
I have a cold and so does one of my sons. Strange!
-
Sorry you are not feeling good. mother and son you need little rest and quiet time before you go away.
Of course they are called beach dresses or you can call them sun dresses.
-
Got the phone call. Doing the happy dance.
I might even have other country's food for celebration. (Sorry Linda)
-
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Glad you got good results!
You had to go there??? Enjoy the other countrys food!
-
I know i keep saying it but didn't have the other country's food.
I went food shopping with my shopping cart walked so slow and careful. But I made it.
fridge and freezer are politely full. tomorrow i go to vegetable store and will be a very happy woman.
I feel good that I was able accomplish something all by myself. I cant stand when I'm not able to do my own things.
How are you feeling Linda?
Im treating myself with goldfish.
lalalalalalalalalaaaaaaaaaaaa
-
about 1 1/2 hours from the shore (Atlantic City) and about 2 hours or so from Wildwood....Are you describing the dresses Linda? So what did the results say?
-
Sandy...TM=tumor Markers were 26. (now you know what TM means)
You have to go all the way to Atlantic City? I didnt realize that. Where is Wildwood/
Is DD arrived her destination yet?
-
Yes I was trying to describe dresses, I just hate dresses!! 12 years of wearing Catholic School uniform dresses and I vowed I would never were them again. Hate skirts too! Love my jeans!
I'm having Teddy Grahams for my snack. I love them. I feel much better today. Thanks for asking.
Glad the fridge is filled and you made it safely. Are you feeling better? Back to normal or do you still have bruises?
Opps, I just realized I am not at the last post so I will post this and read on!
-
Plans for the Fourth? Our town has a 2 or 3 day country fair and also a parade, probably go see that.
-
Congrats Sheila on the good results. I won't have my tests until November. Along with a MRI.
