Thinking Out Loud.....

Just cuz their out, doesn't mean you don't worry. My other two left and went into the military, but this "little guy" has always been my frail one. I worry all the time.

I love my Daughters very much. But I really like my privacy now. We lived together in 1 bedroom apartment for almost 30 years. Its nice that we all have our own place and still close to each other. Yesterday I was so tired didnt move all day and night (Monday)
Today (Tuesday) plenty of energy, DD says I'm not drinking enough water maybe thats what happened. She dropped me at Waikiki where all the action is. I really enjoyed myself went to International Market its a big confusing place, got lost few times hahahahahaaaa
Joe picked me up. He is funny and down to earth and calm. He doesnt make you uncomfortable.
God Bless Them Both. One week from tomorrow I will be in the plane coming home.
Weather is picture perfect and breezy.
Good Morning! to you
Good Night to me.
Sandy good luck with your colonoscopy.
((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))

Good night Sheila. Enjoy your last week. You are lucky that Joe is such a nice guy!! So is Christine.
Good luck today Sandy. Let us know how you are doing.
-
Glad you ar having a nice time, Seyla. Downtown Waikiki can be confusing. I have to share a story about DH and I going out for Lobster dinner.
DS took us to Nobu one night, but had to work the next. After spending big $$ at Nobu, for not much food, DH and I found a coupon for a lobster dinner at a restaurant in Waikiki. We drove around and around the streets until we finally located the restaurant. Saw the sign and everything, so we parked and followed the arrow which was right beside the restaurant sign. Strange that it would be upstairs, but we could see people sitting in the window area. Got upstairs and saw a few pool tables, and a bar, but no restaurant, then we noticed that there were absolutely no women in there. In fact, most of the men looked...well... not manly. DH took me by the arm and quickly rushed me downstairs, past the beautiful rainbow flag we fialed to notice on our way up. The restarant door was under the staircase, and we went in and had a wonderful lobster dinner laughing about how DH had aken me to a gay bar!
-
Sounds like you are having a wonderful time. Maybe some day DH and I will go to Hawaii.
-
Will you pick me up along the way, Deb?
-
We could have a BC.org getotgether on the beach! DH said he was not really interested in Hawaii...until I took him the first time. He jusmped at it on trip #2 and now is looking forward to trip #3 someday. I have been a couple more times.
-
I would love to go but the flight is WAY to long for me! I love the caribbean! Nice and close.
-
Stop by and visit me on the way.
I would love to take DH to the Carribean, too. I've been twice.
-
Thanks guys I wanta go to the Carribean or Hawaii either or, am fine no cancer in the colon, yea!!!! Sheila so glad you are having a good time.....is everybody ok?

Im already ready. Wherever you are going I'm coming.
Tomorrow we will be doing Beach Hopping on the North Shore.
Happy for Sandy.
Deb...Did your daughter got stocked in Europe? I heard some ash problems again.
I found purple AG but didn't buy it because of the thickness.
Saturday we are going to Farmers Market. If they have it will take picture of it.
Im so happy here, I could easily stay another month. This climate really agrees with me.
Even my hair doesn't look thin, they grew LOL
Hugs to all my friends

Good for you Sheila. I have never had purple asparagus. Does it taste the same. Have fun beach hopping. It's supposed to be in the 80's here today, finally! Yippee! My pool is open so all the kiddies will be here. I just bought 5 packages of hotdogs to feed them all. 80's all weekend.
-
Weather for us is supposed to be low 70s in the weekend. Nice because I will be gardening Saturday, Sunday afternoon we will be pouring at a winery, so we will be indoors.
-
It's 80 here, there was a water main break in the kids school, so I have a pool full of kids! Is it too early for margaritas??
-
80's here also and beach hopping works for me!!!
-
The clouds are finally clearing today. Probably in the upper 60s low 70s right now. I mis my pool, no matter what the weather is righ now.
-
It was really nice today, in the 80's. Worked up a sweat walking with my BC buddy at work, she is a 4 yr survivor.
DD did have a delay getting to Heathrow spent 3 hrs in the plane waiting to take off. She is suppose to be home Sunday Eve. We'll see.
-
I walked with my buddy too, she is a bc survivor too! I think she's a 12 year survivor. She was in her 30's and pregnant when dx.
Hope Rebekkah makes it home soon!
-
Hope your daughter makes it home safe and sound.....think in the 80's again tomorrow. Relative was just diagnosed with Inflammatory Breast Cancer, don't know much about it but it is advanced....she let it go, thought it was a rash.....beyond sad.....it is taking over the world it feels.....
-
I am so sorry about your relative. I read up a little on IBC last month. It is a really sneaky devil, since the skin rash appearance doesn't go along with defined lumps in most cases. It jsut stands as a reminder for all of us to pay even more attention to the appearance of our breasts. When Onc noticed a difference in coloration of one of mine last year, it spurred her to order my mammo up early. Which led to a core needle bx. Thankfully it was B9, but I won't ake subtle changes in their appearance lightly anymore.
I think the stats are 1 in six people are affected directly, or through someone they know, by BC. I personally know three people, that I would have known even if I did not have BC.
-
Im sorry too Sandy.
Where isw everybody?
5 more days left. Yesterday we went to North Shore. Beautiful empty beaches.
DD asked me if I want to go there again
They bought this pie one layer chocolate one layer custard covered with
whipped cream.
I have been eating them like its my last meal and Im very happy.
Some serious diet adjustment is in order when I come back.
You all have a wonderful warm weekend.
I hope AG is still on store shelves.

Yea apparently according to her neice (she has 2 boys and didn't share it with them, hid it since approx.l Feb.) 60% of her breast is black and scalely and the other 40 is crusty, they did a punch biopsy but the wonderful surgeon gave her about a year, she has an iq of about 75 and really doesn't understand much, told her chemo by next week and removal of the breast in the future, had a mammogram and it was clear...
Anyway, I am so happy for you that you are enjoying the vacation sounds like a wonderful experience and being with your daughter has to be wonderful... Deb how are u and how is your dad? Meece thanks listening...Mak were are u?
Sandy

TGIF, weather is suppose to be wonderful.
Sandy, I am sorry to hear about your relative, Hugs.

Thanks for thinking about Rebekah she can't wait to get home.
-
Sandu, so sorry to hear about your relative. I will keep her in my prayers.
Sheila, yum on the pie!! It sounds a little like Boson creme pie! Enjoy. Remember, there are no calories when you are on vacation!
Deb, so happy to hear about your Dad. I hope Rebekah is home Sunday!
XOXOXO

While most of you are sleeping, Im waiting for my dinner Christine is cooking.
Tomorrow we are going to that heavenly beach again. I said all your names one by one and Thank God for for all my friends here when I was in the water yesterday. Did you hear me?
I will do the same thing again tomorrow.
Today we went to another heavenly place the botanical garden it was just simply beautiful and everything possible was documented by my camera.
I wish you could all be here to share the beauty.
Hugs

So far there is not a problem with the ashes from the volcano.
Eyjafjallajökull's ashes are not traveling towards Europe. Keeping our fingers crossed.
