my 20 year old nephew and I LOVE beer bread (the mix where you add a can of beer). No one else in the family is that crazy about it, but we gobble it down, so I bought him a box of the mix and will give him one can of beer to go with it (since he isn't of legal drinking age). I hope he will get a kick out of it.

Actually, neither. When I was single, I would buy a live, potted one (it was small, but very heavy) and after Christmas, the city would come and pick it up and plant it. Real live tree for me, one for the city, win-win all the way around.
If I have/had a real tree, I usually wait ... (days, weeks) to put it out for pick up

I'm a sister who also celebrates on January 7th, we just put our tree up last night! For so many years we had a real tree that I love, but since cancer and being so sick on the holidays we got a couple years back an artificial one so it's easier on my daughters to put up and decorate for my hands and arm no longer allow me to do such. I keep a tree up past January 13th.
