My Mum was agoraphobic (before anyone knew what this was, she had a certain radius she could go in her own but needed to be with someone to go beyond, long story had to do with being trapped in a situation in WWII) but a lady moved in next door and they became firm friends and started going all kinds of places together, one day my Mum admitted to her friend that if it wasn't for her she couldn't be doing all these things, the friend looked at her and admitted she was exactly the same ... Little did they know they were both agoraphobics thinking one would take care of the other if they had a panic attack while out on their adventures
