I only make dressing once a year, at Christmas.......or maybe twice, if I host Thanksgiving too.

ok, maybe it wasn't the most fun, but very memorable: had just broken up with a BF a couple days before (timing sucked!). New Years Eve party in apt rec room, had a bit too much wine (or was it champagne?) since I wasn't driving and remember literally crawling up the steps!

no, but wish I were! Is this your first time? A couple days before parade is perfect, you get to do the flowers. Earlier on, it's seeds and leaves. It's fun, especially watching the teens climb around the scaffolding

I really had to think for this one, I would say an Icon that my family has passed down for now 7 generations, and I will pass on to my daughter. Also an African Cross that is usually passed down to men but when given they say I know not where your life may lead but I give you the four corners of the World.
One thing I look at everyday and say…
P.S. I live in the North Bay and would love to know when and where you ladies are meeting. I've been limited with my ability to get around because of my spine and arm but would love to try and see a group of you ladies. UCSF has a wonderful Breast Cancer Program and the doctors and nurses are all such wonderful people.

Yes, Ann, (and anybody else interested) come over to the 'Lets Post Our Daily Exercise' thread. We are good cheerleaders for each other to keep up with some exercise, and we have an annual get-together for whomever can make it, which is a blast!
M360, once we get exact dates pinned down, we will see if any SF area ladies would like to get together. We met up with some of the Illinois ladies for dinner when we were in Chicago two summers ago & that was really fun. We will keep you posted!

The flying monkeys from the Wizard of OZ! I can remember to this day being very young and I had on a rose flowered nightgown, hiding my head behind my Mother and afraid that they were going to fly out of the television and right into our family room.

I retired from teaching last spring, and gave 100% to my students and job all the way to the end.
Another thing from 2013 that I am proud of is....

that I'm finished with reconstruction, have 2 breasts and cleavage (that I haven't had in many years), can wear bras bought off the shelf (not from a mastectomy shop or catalog), same with a swim suit, feel better about me, and finally out of pain (most of the time) since Halloween 2012 (I hope this isn't too shallow)
I'm keeping this going...
