Sunday. I get to go to church and worship and see my church famiily, then come home and relax and spend time with grandkids and/or lie around.

Ruth D.C. Is absolutely beautiful in April when the cherry blossom tree are in bloom, and in the evening, after dark, the Capitol Building shines like a jewel!

The perfect weekend getaway would be -
Nashville, IN.....I'm about 4 hours away...it's a lovely artist colony town with wonderful shops, covered bridges and lots of beautiful trees displaying riotous fall colors....wonderful B&B's!
(Ruth - The Vietnam Wall is the one that tears me up....I have 3 names on it....one guy I dated in high school and two others were classmates....on my 2nd visit there, I couldn't even stop to touch their names, I was crying too hard)
Given the choice of two tickets to either a movie theater, play, opera or symphony, I'd take..................

I just love Gettysburg, and all of the history that is behind it. My husband is actually looking into taking the National Tour Guide test. He figures it will be in place once we are ready to retire. It looks like it's about a 5 year process to get it into place.
