my huge chestnut tree, blueberry bushes, bird feeder, other trees, my neighbor's dog who lives her life on a long chain (she and I are friends and I pet her often, this summer they put up a chained fence so she can run free but many times they keep her outside the fence on the long chain).
(yes, pumpkin pie is the best!)

(TallM I'm only 10 minutes from big/little Corona, one of the best places to watch the sunset, in fact when Chrissyb was here last year I took her there to watch the sunset and my friend was married on the bluff there)

I've always looked up to...? (person, career...) -
The volunteers for the Red Cross, Salvation Army, etc. The people who stop their lives and jump into their cars or on a plane to cross the country and aid in the rescue of and comfort victims of horrible disasters....like the Twin Towers bombing and the hurricanes/floods that devastate towns and cities. I think these people are really true heroes.
If I could be a personal assistant to anyone in the world for one week, I'd choose....

Christmas with our extended family when I was growing up. I could tell you exactly what we did each hour of the days they would be at our house, and the exact menu. Man, did we have fun!

Can't think of one with my mom. She always did & had everything perfect. BUT when we did christmas eve dinner @ my sister in laws it was NASTY processed everything from turkey on down. She's a better cook now & can actually make a couple things that are not prepped all ready:)
