clean out my file cabinet and shred, shred, shred.
(Wonderland.....great idea, let me know the secret you have to get DH to get rid of clothes, etc., mine will dig it back out of the Goodwill bag unless I whisk it away before he gets home)
A recent DVD I watched and recommend is...............
(I checked out Cellular with Kim Basinger from my library...it was very good, a real edge of your seat thriller...and I'd never heard of it before)

I think the first concert I went to was seeing Three Dog Night when I was in college. Very cool. I still remember some of the sets, lighting, costuming etc.

When it snows...

I'm reminded of when I was a kid. Snow meant money. We'd grab shovels and head out to clean off sidewalks, porches and stairs for dimes and quarters. I lived in the city so there weren't any long driveways, people drove through an alley to park - if they had a garage.....otherwise they parked on the street. Afterwards, we built our snowmen and had our snowball fights. Great memories.

my Dad insisted that I learn how to drive a stick shift before he would let me learn how to drive a car with an automatic transmission.

(I shudder to think about this).....but when I was about 16 my parents wanted me to go to the churches youth group, I recluctanaly did so and afterwards a couple of the guys asked another girl and I if we wanted to go driving around. Since they were 'church' boys my parents agreed, and they took us out in the country and sped as a fast as they could....well over 100 mph on the backroads. By a miracle we made it home alive, and I never went anyplace with those guys again, and never went back to the youth group either.
Faith, did you and I have the same father? Did yours make you learn on a stick shift station wagon that wouldn't shift unless you went through many contortions first? If so, he is probably the same guy!
My favorite mode of transportation is....

yoga. I;ve been trying it since the 60's when it was "hip" and can't find a way to relax and enjoy it. I think I'm ADD.....have to keep moving.
