my grandmother because she was a b*tch. Later I learned that her mom had passed away when she was maybe ten, and because she was the oldest girl had to quit school to care for her dad and sibs. She did her duty and worked like a dog and became bitter. You can never fathom some people's pain.

that the clematis I have been babying is actually growing and has some buds on it. (It was a scraggly leftover at the greenhouse. I am excited to see what color the flowers are!)

I have several clematis and they just love this sun! One will bloom until the fall which is nice.Next week I have plans to host our Navel Acad plebe...we are "sponsors" and she likes to stay here rather than the dorms when she is allowed to do so.

I would find a non-polluting fuel that they whole world could switch to. That way we could end global climate change, reduce all kinds of pollution (and stop all the health issues, ruining of the land for the animals, oil slicks etc. that go with it), end the wars fought for oil. That might do more for future generations than anything else I can think of.
If a young person came to me and asked me advice on love and marriage, I would tell him/her.......
