take the anti-nausea pills as directed, get a Neulasta shot, visualize the chemo as assassins who are working FOR you (because they are); assassins are not nice but their job is to kill the bad guys before they can get to you! Do as many normal things as possible so you don't have to just sit around thinking about 'stuff' all the time, go to a 'Look Good, Feel Better' session sponsered by the American Cancer Society (great tip and free high quality makeup), if anyone says, "let me know if there is anything I can do'; tell them EXACTLY what they can do and when they can do it...if people will bring you food, that is the best, definitely get some kind of exercise. And like wonderland says, even though it seems like it will be forever, it isn't and you will come out on the other side. Sending you a hug!

that some of the nurses in the outpatient department of my hospital are going to start quilting lap quilts for the cancer patients they see. (they don't give chemo - they give IV fluids, platelets, etc to cancer patients as needed)
