Arggh, I'm an idiot! My vacuum is NOT an Oreck. I had an Oreck, which was fine til it broke, but the vacuum cleaner I now have and love is my DYSON vacuum cleaner! (The one without the ball). The pull-out tube thingie for cleaning corners and cobwebs is the greatest thing ever.
My kitchen is the most beautiful room in my house. The previous owners had it remodeled and it is breathtaking, with high cathedral ceilings and skylights.

(Count me in as a happy Oreck owner. Once I had one that had something go wrong with it & I called their number expecting a run-a-round & the guy said without pausing a moment, "No problem, we'll send you a new one, just put the old one in the box the new one arrives in and send it back, postage free," I was hooked for life!)
