The best advice I ever got for getting through chemo was...
(I actually need this, since I start next week) -

drink LOTS of fluids, walk every day (I walked in the house because I had chemo during the winter), don't wait a minute or two to go to the bathroom if you feel like your bowels are moving, buy extra underwear before you start chemo, carry an extra pair of panties in your purse, buy your wig or whatever you plan to wear before you start chemo, get your head buzzed when your hair starts falling out, start a countdown after each treatment and remember that it's not forever! Good Luck!!!
