Moody
Thank you so much for the update.
I sorry I did not think of this sooner, when Cam was in the up chuck Olympics and definitely going for the gold, and even days upon days in the hospital could not stop the nausea or get enough liquid in her, the only thing that worked was ABH. It is a compound the pharmacy mixed of Ativan, benadryl and hadol. I know from research, it is not only used at MD Anderson, but by others. They made it into a suppository. Kytril, zofran nothing else worked. It also helped relax her. Hope this info is too late, that Olivia is on the mend and each hr brings more relief.
Prayers for Olivia, you, and your family.

Moody/Olivia -- here's hoping and praying that today is a good day for you and that Olivia is on the road to recovery. I wonder also if this could be a case of food poisoning like suggested above, salmonella or e. coli.
-

Last night about 12:45am Olivia asked if I could hear the "singing" . I said no, I here nothing. She said "you cant hear that? I here a beautiful voice singing one note but it is so pretty." So I told her it was her own angel singing praises to her.
About 3:45am she woke up "mom somethings wrong!" I raised up and her feeding tube had come completely out, but the tape on her face holding it in was still in tacted. We called the nurses in and they were puzzled that the tube was out and had been out dripping her nutrition on her bed, but the tape holding it in place was still there unmoved!
At first I had a since of dread as I knew they were going to have to put it back and this child just couldn't take too much trauma. So I begin to pray that since she had gotten alot of the amino acids into her tummy and tolerated it so well, that perhaps they would try her without the tube and see if she might could swallow on her on.
Dr. Patel came in this am and said "she has been healed and she can eat anything she wants, so no tube if she can swallow." She said "can I have a great big pizza?" LOL So she got ice cream.....and SHE ATE IT ALL! And she DIDN'T GET SICK!!!
So I KNOW without a doubt the Hand of God pulled her tube out because He KNEW she didn't need it anymore! The nurses said that if she had pulled the tube out herself, the tape would have had to come loose as it was taped up to her nostril and the tape was still there! They said she should have felt it coming out all the way up form her tummy and she didnt wake up until she felt the wet from the dripping of her "food".
We were told she would probably have to go home with this tube because they thought her tummy would have to be "re-trained". God had a different plan.
She had a sitting shower in the bathroom, I have washed her hair, changed her clothes and she is sitting here nibbling mashed potatoes!!!!!!! Can I get a "HALLELUJAH!" ?? Followed with an "Amen?"
P.S.- This has been my favorite e-mail to send!

-
HALLELUJAH!"
Amen
-
Just when we begin to doubt we are shown again!
-
That is wonderful news!
-
Oh Karen - what fantastic news!!! Yea!!
-
HALLELUJAH AND AMEN!!! OH KAREN WHAT WONDERFUL NEWS!!
I just got back from my lunch break...logged on..and what special wonderful news!!!
That's so awesome that the she heard the angels singing...and then when the time came...the feeding tube was out and needed no more.
Enjoy ice cream, mashed potatoes and anything else your little stomach and heart desire Olivia!! Honey I am so happy you are feeling better! I bet that shower and your mom washing your hair felt really good.
I will continue to pray for your quick recovery!
Allelujah, and Amen!
xoxo

It is 72 degrees here and I have been working in my yard. Came in to check for news from the sweet girls and WOW. I had no doubt that God would come through and boy did he in a great big way. The singing was God's angels pulling out that tube. I can't wait to tell my small group about this. God is sooooo Good. I am so happy that I could shout and I think I will------Hallelujah Christ is King. Thanks be to God AMEN
Edited to add: Hanna, thanks for your beautiful post. It was meant to be on here twice because it was a blessing to read to again.......

That's just incredible news ... I'm soooo happy that Olivia has been healed .. she's a very special little girl .. and soooo deserved to be healed. I just know that she'll be out of the hospital soon and that she won't have a repeat of whatever this problem was. It's just phenomenal !!!!
