I was checking to see if anyone else had reported our evil Russell's arrest.  Poor boy!!

I am so sad about Bret.  I didn't know anything about him until the Apprentice.  Seems likes a nice guy.  Strange, but nice.

     Here is Jeff's latest blog.

I can't believe JT made such a dumb move. And is Amanda moving in with the Villians or is Pavarti going to eat her up and spit her out too?

Jaybird, I agree with you on Amanda....she always looks like she's gonna cry. I think she is too trusting and too honest for this game, and I don't think its going to get her anywhere.

Kitty.....a fight between Russell and Pavarti......that has got to be good!

    PIP, thanks for link.

Looking forward to next week, things are heating up.

I am also upset about Bret Michaels - I don't watch Celebrity Apprentice, but I did watch a couple of the Rock of Love episodes.  Overall, he came across as a nice person - really genuine and caring.  I am so sorry he is going through this - you are right 2tzus, it is not looking very good for him.

I'm not a Parvati fan at all. In fact, I really dono't care for her and will be very disappointed if she wins this season.

Sandra is my favorite, right now, even though going into this season I really didn't like her, either!

But Russell is just too trollish. He may have done some interesting things, but he fails at the single most important part of the win: the SOCIAL game! You may be brilliant, but if you piss off too many people, THEY WON'T VOTE FOR YOU!

Oh well, Amanda really blew it when she couldn't keep her poker game face on! Yeesh. But at least both Idols are out, was a great play, and I so hope RussellTroll doesn't find yet ANOTHER Hidden Immunity Idol! OY!

Not too suprised aboout who went home, but gee whiz - Candice could have totally turned that around and she didn't.  I guess you just can't trust anyone.  Did anyone else catch the comment Amanda made to Jeff?  Am I wrong in remembering that they dated for a while?

    Jeff's latest blog.  http://popwatch.ew.com/2010/04/30/jeff-probst-blog-survivor-heroes-vs-villains-ep-11/

I have been a Russell fan since half way through last season, but my loyalty is slowly changing to Sandra.  She is one smart cookie.  Of course it remains to be seen if Parvati outsmarts them both.

Colby is an empty headed tool.

Something about him waiting to do this for a long time. It's the first time she's actually had her torch snuffed. He blew her remark off, though.

Can't believe it took me so long to find this forum Surprised I am a huge Survivor fan.  Had surgery last wednesday and told everyone that I'd better be home by thursday so I could watch Survivor Tongue out I was home :)  Loving this season.. there have been some really dumb moves and some really great tribal councils!!  Amanda said to Jeff "this is something you've always wanted to do", personally I'm glad he got the chance! Laughing

    Can't wait til next week!

Yes, Amanda and Candice pulled some dumb moves. When Sandra realized Candice was going to flip and cancel out her flip, she flipped back in time to hang Candice out to dry. I think they'll all (except Russell) go after Candice next week for being disloyal. The Heroes will know she didn't vote for Parvati, but because there weren't six votes READ for Amanda, I think Sandra will try to imply to the Villains that Candice did indeed flip back and vote for Parvati.

That, along with Parvati already being nervous about Russell and Candice anyway, will (I think), lead to Parvati targeting Candice. And Sandra will have successfully gotten the target onto someone other than herself. Just as she did before when she was in danger and told Russell that Coach was out to get him. Boom, Coach is gone and Sandra's safe another week. She's really good at that.

I wasn't a big Sandra fan, but I have to say - she is playing a great game. Without the other players realizing it, she has a lot of influence.  I can't believe that Amanda gave up the clue they way that she did - she should have opened it up, read the clue out loud, then handed it back to Danielle.  And.........Colby, what is wrong with him?  He seems to have totally checked out of the game.

    On to next week.......

Does anyone remember a few years back when one of the female players went home because her mother was very close to the end of brain cancer? I thought it was Jerri. DH says it was someone named Jenna who's not on this seasons show.

It was Jenna Morasca.  I believe she won her season.  It was when she was on an All-Star show some time later that she left because of her mother.  Her mother passed away shortly afterwards.  She was - and I believe still is - dating Ethan Zohn, who I think won his season and was also on that All-Star show.  He's recently had cancer, Hodgkins, I think.

About this season, other than JT's all-time stupidest move with the idol, the next worst move was this past week from Candice.  If she'd stayed loyal to the Heros, with Sandra moving over, they would have had the numbers and that would have kept her in the game for a lot longer.  Now she's a traitor to the Heros, so they will want her out, and she's of no importance to the Villains.  Totally dumb move; how did she think she could gain ground by doing that?

Totally agree, Bessie - Candice's move was just dumb.  Jenna's mom had breast cancer, by the way.  She did pass away just two days after Jenna got the feeling that she had to leave.  Very eerie.

I soooooo want Russell out!! Any man who would swear on his kid's lives, really is a sad excuse for a human being. Of course, knowing Russell, it's quite possible he's lying about even having kids!!

Lots of dumb moves tonight. Parvati was quick to see the danger of Russell and Candice getting close, but got all indignant when Russell pointed out the same applied to her and Danielle. That said, Russell completely botched that whole "take out Danielle" tactic. The only reason it went through was because Danielle said incredibly stupid things about her alliance with Parvati. Parvati even dropped her head in dismay about how Danielle was saying way too much at TC. You could see Jerri changing her vote when Danielle announced, essentially, that she, Parvati, and Russell were F3. Jerri was all "Oh, really? I can take care of that."

And then Rupert pulled off some of the best strategy in the episode with his HII fake-out to get people to vote for him. Who woulda thunk it? Find out who they're splitting the vote for in case he does have an idol, and then Colby and Rupert just join them without telling them. And Candice is gone. Very smart.

    What a wild episode.

Why would anyone believe someone who would swear on someone else's life?  That is the oldest lie in the book.  Well, probably not the oldest but close to it.  I think Rupert was faking indignation.  Remember Rupert began his original Survivor appearance by stealing the shoes of the other players and claiming he was a pirate. Rupert actually started out as a villain years ago.

That was a great show.  Sandra had a very good day for herself.  I was dismayed when Russell won immunity - I think that was his first in both seasons, wasn't it?  I so hope Colby wakes up and starts winning immunities.  I felt so bad for Rupert - he was so close to winning that immunity.  It did all work out well, so maybe it was for the best that he didn't win it.

Do you really think that the Colby and Rupert will take Russell in on next week's show?  I seriously doubt it, but they were showing hand shaking on the preview.

Amazing Race finishes up this Sunday for the Amazing Race fans on here.

The villians are turning on each other, curious to see what happens next week. If Sandra realizes the potential in that, she could really turn the votes around.  She is very good at putting thoughts into the minds of the other players to lead them to where she wants them to be.  Then again, as nasty as Russell is, he really has a way of staying in the game and turning it his way - he plays smart.  I wonder what there is about him that the players see that we don't see thanks to the editing.

I do find it funny how players will accuse each of ther of various things, alliances, lying, etc and don't see it in themselves - Coach was a good example of that.

As for Colby, I'd love to see him wake up and really try - it almost seems as if he's given up.  But.....then again, he is still in the game somehow or another.

    Until next week....................

I have to agree...I love Russell too!  He's the best Survivor player ever.  Everyone knows he's lying and wil say anything to get to the end, but they just keep stepping right into his traps.  It's hilarious!  Even though I have to give Sandra credit for her ability to play so well, I just don't like her.  I've always loved Rupert, but I think Russell is the one so far who deserves to win.

There is something hinky about Colby.  He is a big tall guy who fades on every challenge, never takes the lead on any strategy.  Could he be the one flying below the radar or is he really just checked out of the game? ---or is it editing?

I think Sandra and Russell are tied for the best players so far followed very closely by Parvati.  I find Sandra really interesting because her natural personality is very aggressive yet she can hide it so well from other players, especially Russell.  Russell is aggressive and acts aggressive.  Parvati is manipulative and acts manipulative.  Sandra is the only one of the three who is invisible as a mover of the game.

I'm still rooting for Russell.   Think he is playing a great game, although things are getting away from him.   He is devious enough to regroup so next week will be a good show!  I just read Jeff's blog and can't wait to see who is voted "player of the dumbest move"!!   Right now, it stands to be JT with his passing note/idol to Russell.    BUT--close contender is Sandra for leaving the idol she found hidden in the brush because she didn't have any place to hide it.  DUMB DUMB DUMB.....we all know how good Russell is at finding hidden immunity idols.   I predict he finds it; and that down the road, Sandra plays a rock that Russell has hidden in the pouch!   That decision of Sandra leads to lots of interesting speculation, but wil lundoubtedly be her downfall.

And, to be fair to Russell--the WORST comments I remember was when Johnny Fairplay told his group his beloved grandma had died and the group's sympathy kept him on for another couple weeks!  Nobody's topped that one!    Great show!!!!

Thanks for Jeff's blog, 2tzus.  It's ending on the 16th of May?  They are at 6 now - are two going home on Thursday the 13th?  I think it is a certainty that there will be the final 3, not the final 2.  I think it will be (going out on a limb now) Rupert, Sandra and Pavarti.  I could be terribly wrong, but I think Russell, unless he wins immunity again, is going home on Thursday.  JMHO.
