Hi Ladies - So sorry to have to back out last minute, but I think I am coming down with what my son had earlier this week. He's been home the last couple days with a bad cold and fever and now I'm starting to feel under the weather. I don't want to spread any germs. Have fun and hope to see you all the next time around! Be sure to post some pictures!
Angela

Hi ladies...just checking in to make sure we're still on. I'm coming - but I'm flying solo tomorrow, Kelly won't be joining...it's "me" time

-
Hi All,
I'm sorry. I have to back out. My cold is better.. got some antibiotics... But I think I'm going to stay home and let myself heal a little more before going back to work.
I'm really sorry for the last minute notice. I really wanted to come.
But I'll keep check for the next one!!!
I hope you all have a great time.
Beth
-
And one more drops out - Barb has to coach her daughter's team as the coach is sick.
-
I totally forgot! and now I've agreed to stay after church to work on our yard sale. I am so sorry! I was really looking forward to meeting all of you!
-
And a good time was had by all

It was so nice to meet Maureen, Dawn, Diane and Becky...the other chatty cathies were Nadine, Christina and Nancy of course...it was just what the doctor ordered for me - some time out of the house on a beautiful sunny day! Sorry for the cussing ladies...I should have warned you - I used to be a sailor

Thanks again for the directions Nancy! I'd have been mad if all I got for all that driving around was a McDonald's drive through bagged lunch.
I hope others will be able to make it to the next one - but lets make this one easier to find!

Here's some pics from today, I had a great time meeting the new faces and seeing the one's from last time. We'll skip December and plan another lunch for January. We missed all of you who were sick, hope you're feeling better soon. HUGS, Dawn

Thanks for posting the pictures Dawn!!!!!!!!! I have such a time of it with photobucket...my pictures are always the size of a quarter
when I post them on bc.org.I emailed Nadine, Becky, Christine, Nancy, Bonnie, Maureen, Dawn, Lucia, Julie and Angela so if anyone missed today's lunch and would like to be on the email thread outside of BC.org, please PM me your email address. Also, if those listed above do not receive my email which I just sent along with a photo, PM me as well...I may have misread some of the emails....stupid chemo brain.
Had a great time....looking forward to January!

Great pictures! So sorry I missed it. Dawn, you have hair! Yay! :-)
-
ANGELA - Hope you're feeling better. Yes I have hair now - YIPEE;o), I look back at the pics from our first lunch in August and wonder what was my family thinking letting me go out in public???LOL and I actually thought I had hair - Good grief!! Hope you can make it in January. Nipples on November 9 for me, can't wait. I'm sure you're happy to be all finished now, CONGRATS!
DIANE - Thanks for doing the email list, appreciate it. I had the hardest time posting pics til my husband walked me through it like a first grader, I'm not so tech savy.
NANCY - Glad that we have been able to do this, hope we can keep it going.
Have a great week ladies. HUGS, Dawn
-

Wooow, I was wondering why there were so many ladies at Rio Grande with short hair on sunday. Now I know!
I was there around noon eating lunch with two friends. I was the young bald asian girl if any of you saw me.

KTSY - OMG, that's so funny, I think one of us mentioned seeing you and thought you might be one from our group who we hadn't met before. Next time you'll have to join us. I had the same chemo as you are, I hope you're doing OK though it all. I was the short little brunette. Did you have a mast. I had a bilat mast and had my exchange surgery in August. All the best to get through this quickly. HUGS, Dawn
