Hello,
I just found out about this post. I am pretty new here. I don't know if I can make the lunch yet.
I am trying to get an appointment for a MX. I am pretty messy now....
Does anyone know a BS at Georgetown? Dr. Willey was the one I was trying to have but she was not seeing a new patient until May. I want to do a Surgery with PS, Dr. Spear and I need to find a BS.
Sorry for asking a question....
Thank you.

KIMBERLY - (I'm the Dawn from the picture forum) OMG of course that would be great. I didn't think to ask you as I thought it might be too far. PM me if you might be interested in carpooling. I could meet you and then drive on from there as I know where I'm going. HOW COOL!! HUGS, Dawn

Hi Northern VA ladies! I wanted to let you know about an event that I am involved with so that you can spread the word. I live in Ashburn, VA (near Dulles airport) and my community has formed a team that will be walking in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in May. The team, The Brambleton Step Sisters, has done this for 5 years now, raising more than $200K for our cause (yay!) and this is my first year walking. Our community is sponsoring a 5K Ribbon Run/Walk on March 20th that will directly benefit our team and the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. I know a lot of my friends and family don't know ways to help out this cause so I have told them about this event as a good way to get involved. If you know anyone who lives near this area who you think would be interested, please spread the word. There will be lots going on that day, including the 5K Run, a 5K walk and a kids fun run, vendors, DJ, moonbounce, so it should be a great event. All details can be found at the website: http://www.brambletonribbonrun.vpweb.com/

I look like such a baby compared to all of you beautiful ladies!
I wanted to thank you so much for allowing me to join your group for lunch. I've tried to join numerous groups and never was able to fit in, but you all made me feel welcome, at peace, and at home. It really meant a lot to me. I haven't laughed that much in so long. It felt good. I'm very much looking forward to the next luncheon.
Just in case, the scar therapy I use is Kinerase Scar Healing Therapy.
It's probably safest to order it online. I know they have it at sephora.com. Every time I'd tried to physically go out and get it, it was always sold out! But I was always given plenty of the "sample" tube which was fine with me. Never one to turn down a free product! I believe it should be applied twice daily, but to be perfectly honest, I forget a lot and/or skip some days altogether.
The fundraiser my fiancee is running: Beautifulgrim.org (it was named after my blog. if any of you are bloggerites, let me know. I love to read other people's stories! Mine's beautifulgrim.com/blog)
Angela, I'll definitely spread the word!
Warmly,
Katsy/Cat/Kitty (Any of these are fine. I have so many nicknames.

Katsy - I had a book group many years ago and we had at least one woman from each decade (from the teens up into the 80's) in it. We met at the YMCA doing exercises and would sit and have coffee - which lead to discussing books - which lead to reading the same books so we could talk about it more!
That was the best bunch of women I ever had the privilege of knowing while I was raising my children. I was extremely happy when I turned 30 and was not the baby any more - my friend Marsha joined our group she was still in her 20's, then another member's daughter who was 19 joined too!
I am so happy to have met you and hope that this bunch of beautiful women will become to you what my friends became to me.
There is something so special about having friends at all ages and stages of life. I have learned from my younger and older friends more than anyone one would ever think possible.
