I'm bitchy, I moan, I groan.....anyway.

I feel like I'm walking around holding my breath all the time, just waiting for what's next I don't dare breath.
-
I understand. I can't sleep tonight. Too many people sick, suffering and dying. It just is soo sad
-
Shocked........D@**! I feel horrible.......so sad.
-
Miss S - I had the same reaction. seriously, how screwed up is it that I look at that picture and think, "oh, her hair is pretty and I like her necklace" instead of "oh, that poor woman, she looks really upset" LOL (I like her sweater too...) And I always mean to tell you I like your hightops.
Jane - ugh! there is nothing worse than tooth pain, that sucks!
(((((otter))))) I know, I NEVER feel that way about this place ("it's too sad, I can't keep coming here") but this past week has really gotten my down on my blasted triple negative, node positive status. It sucks.
Pinky and crazy (your names sort of go together!) seems like we're all feeling the same way...
On a happier note - Traci? How's things?
Everyone else (can't remember names for s*#&) a big that sucks, and hugs..

Mega HUGS for everyone. I have heard of too many deaths lately. At my age (63) one does expect some, but not the young ones. Then again, any death is tragic. Friends grandtr killed in car crash, other friends dad dropped dead unexpectedly, woman had aneurysm and gone in the ambulance... Our BC sisters -- THAT SUCKS.
As much as I like to think there is a reason for all of this sadness, I just don't know. It is not fair and it brings pain to too many who are left behind and fighting his/her own battles to keep alive for a while longer.
Dear God, please lay your comforting hands on our shoulders and give us peace and restful sleep while we move forward with our remaining days on this earth. Amen.

Last July, Annie (HeatherBLocklear) started a thread over in the "Help Me Get Through Treatment" forum. It's called, "Has breast cancer changed the person you are?".
Kerry_lamb posted there just last week that she often feels like she's in a "witness protection program." You know the feeling: You've been told you will probably be safe as long as you follow the rules; you know you need to get on with your life and go about your ordinary daily business; but all the time you're looking over your shoulder and thinking they (or, it) will find you again, sooner or later...
I know ... I am being too morose. Neither Deb nor Annie would tolerate this gloom and doom. Right now they are probably wishing they could reach down here and shake me, and tell me to get out of my recliner and get dressed and do something useful!

And....they are looking down at me saying "go for it you stoopid girl!!"
Hugs everybody, I'm at work so can't stay long just wanted to say hi and see how everybody was doing. Sorry for all the IOS's. The guy getting the "kid that comes with a check" makes me homicidal. (sp?) U-N-B-E-L-I-E-V-A-B-L-E!!!!!!!!!
I told my OAOA y'all were rooting for me; he said with a smile "You still have 6 days left." He is being so respectful.
Love y'all.

I'm moaning today because I cannot get my car out, for the second day running. We only have about 6" of snow, but my car just spins. Yesterday I wasn't too bothered, today I am beginning to feel trapped, so I got a shovel, and dug right down to the concrete driveway, 2 long tracks about 10 yds behind my car, so I could get a good run and grip, but it didn't work.
DH arrives on the scene, tells me I am doing it all wrong, jumps in, and spins just like me ! I have rear wheel drive, wide wheeled sports car, and usually pretty useless in snow !! I had to go get a barrow of sand to put on my newly dug tracks, and that did the trick, but my car just wouldn't grip at all on the threequarter mile long driveway to the main roads, so I am well and truly stuck. I haven't been out for five days, so I will have to use DH's 4WD tomorrow, and I hate the thing !
I don't want to go out for any particular reason, just don't like to feel that I CAN'T get out.
Isabella.
-
You need winter tires!
-
Isabella - I had a rear wheel drive car for about 5 minutes (long story how I ended up with a car that sucks in the snow when I live in New England!) I could not get out of my driveway if there was even just a few inches of snow. A friend did tell me that a rear wheel drive car can do quite well in the snow if you have snow tires.
I now have a little Honda CR-V with all wheel drive and I love it!
-
I drive a Mitsubishi Lancer which sucks in the snow. Even though it wasn't predicted today, it decided to snow while I was at work. So, I ended up having my husband drive to my work with his 4WD truck and he drove my car home and I drove his truck home. If I know it is going to snow ahead of time, I just drive the truck and he takes his Blazer with the plow. This is the first car I have ever had that isn't good in the snow and, so far, this year we've had a bunch. I'm so ready for spring!
-
Isabella I love it when the spouse thinks they can do it better and can't.
Otter You may not realize this but you are an incredibly generous, compassionate and giving person and it's normal for you to feel this way. If you didn't you would be a sociopath. I have followed you and Rock since my Dx and look up to you both. I will admit that I decided to stop coming on line after Deb died because I feared it was disrespectful. Instead I read her blog. I wish I would have know her. Now I'm back in full force to help comfort others when I can and shamelessly beg for understanding and bitch. With much emphasis on the bitching.
I haven't been on long enough to know anyone that has died personally. I'm sorry for your loss.

Night girlies!

Get this: the bank agreed to modify our mortgage.....they've RAISED our payment by almost $300 a month. And, if it arrives even 1 minute late, foreclosure proceedings start immediately. Our church had given us $$ to help bring us up to date on the mortgage and the bank's attorney refused to take it all to bring it up to date. They said they'd take a partial payment and raise the payment for 2 years or nothing. WTF???
Dh spent several hours with the credit counselor last Monday and this was the best he could do for us as far as dealing with the bank. They cannot proceed with trying to qualify us for the displaced worker program until the bank's attorney certifies that they've received our payment. Then, it will be 3 months before we even have an answer whether or not they can help us. It just seems to me that the bank shouldn't be able to REFUSE to accept payment to bring our loan up to date. GRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!! I would like to know how anybody we are working with thinks it is acceptable to slap us with a bigger bill when we've been trying to work with them to lower the damned payment. We couldn't swing $300 extra a month when dh had a job, damnit! DUH
That sucks! to all who need it.
(((HUGS)))

Diane...sorry about your mortgage troubles, how stupid can they get.
There was talk, over here of hanging all the bankers from lampposts, for all the troubles they've caused world wide. !!!!!!! They get great big loans from the government, to help bale people out, and they're not helping as they should, just not letting the money out to help loans and mortgages, and get things back on track again.
January is when they all get their bonus, and we're talking millions of pounds here, and a whole lot of them are taking the money...just unbelievable...thats why there is talk of stringing them up!!!! 'fraid I agree !!!!
Isabella.
-
If it was still done electronically, your mortgage "account" would be up to date! Now that a human is involved, they have biases and prejudices that "IT" may happen again. It makes them look pro-active.
It's kind of like a bank charging you $40 for an NSF cheque. If I had the money in the first place it wouldn't have bounced! And now you want more??? Are you that stupid?
-
What I don't like is when the credit card company calls to say you are behind and they will accept a 'check over the phone', they take your banking information and will draw a draft from your account and charge you $25 for the privledge of taking money from your account. I too am running behind and they offered to take half payments for 4 months and reduce the interest to 0% while on this reduced payment but they have to do the draft, I can't set up the payments with my bank like normally do, however they will waive the check over the phone fee for the 4 months. I asked why do they charge the fee normally and I was told, it is income for the company. I said isn't 15% a month interest income enough from me.
-
BadBoob..... if the government gave the money to banks to help cover such loans, then they should be held accountable. Write to the senate to find out if the money could be used to help you specifically. Let the Senate know that that money is not being used to cover those who need it most. Instead it is became another asset to the company. Those banks should be made accountable as to how the money is applied.

Hey, where's wish (wishiwere)? I think she said she was going away to a wedding for the weekend, but that's long past.
Diane - that truly sucks about what the mortgage co. is trying to pull. How do they sleep at night?!?
Traci - hope you are taking advantage of your 'opportunities'

Big that SUX to Diane and yes, those numbnuts got that money to help get people back on track, but it's not being used for that. Our were kinder than yours but dang it all.........you are trying to work with them, not against them.. I think the only ones get a head sup on this program, are the Johnny whoever that owes 3 million on his million dollar home and now can't pay it b/c the house is worth less than the original millioin! UGH! IT's all a scam on us, the little guy.
Lisa, you are sweet to remember me
. Yes, went to the wedding and ended up losing my power steering pump and line to a tune of $479!!!!!! OMGOSH! Then I got home late Monday afternoon and deposited knowing that debit would overdraw me and expecting an overdraft charge, but they over-drafted a ton of little amount from the weekend also, that came in way before that charge, so it's $186!!!!!!!!! i can NOT afford that, so may soon be canceling that bank out if they don't reduce that to the one charge that over drafted me! Makes me ill. Then my little sister who traveled 12hour to get there, blew an engine on the way home. Now she has a payment for another vehicle which she can't afford1 This is just a nutty weekend and world. But...........I'll post a pic of th couple when i figure out how to upload them again...really sweet!

If my gyn says I'm post-menopausal (FSH=33.4), then why am I still having hot flashes?
-
I have had hot flashes since 1995 when I had hysterectomy. I don't think they ever stop.
-
Great. I thought that once I had passed the threshhold of menopause, the flashes would go away. I guess that's the price I have to pay for not having PMS.
-
No, Jane--they don't STOP when you hit menopause. For some of us, that's when they STARTED. Mine were just beginning to slack off after going strong for 5 years ... and then I started on Arimidex.
otter
-
Not sure anyone wants to hear this, but my mother at 81 STILL has them!
She had a full hystericalectomy (fun with science) over 30 years ago so.......yes, they do continue, just not as often or as heated.
I had started with them years ago and the chemopause and arimidex just increased their size, strength and power! IF ONLY we could harness this hey?
-
wish, I call them "power surges"...
-
or, my own personal summer...
-
My vacation in Hawaii/tahiti/Palau or some other tropical island.
-
Wish, I could have gone the rest of my life without hearing that!!!!
Hot Flashes SUCK!
Diane, I'm just sittin' here shaking my head at that freaking mortgage company of yours. Who is it anyway?? You hang in there girl. Something will break for you where you mortgage is concerned. I just know it. Keep being the squeaky wheel. Dream has a real good idea. Call/write/email your state politicians. Play the cancer card big-time. That is total BS them raising your payment. TOTAL BS!!!! They should add the arreages to the end of your loan. God that makes me so f*ing mad!!
Lisa, girls....I can't do it. I just can't. I can't bring myself to get intimate with him. I just can't. I'm so f*ing mad at myself. I'm sick with a head cold and last night, I popped some sudafed, alka-seltzer and then drank two drinks. By dinner, I was a bubblering idiot. Crying about cancer, death.....it was awful. I know he hated seeing me like that; I hated seeing me like that. I only ate a couple of bites of dinner and was crying at the freaking table in a fancy restuarant!! I hate it when I do that!!! Everything sucks.
Sorry but, that's what the thread is for right? Love y'all. I gotta get back to work.

{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}
Sometimes you just have to let it out sweetie. He didn't run away did he? Of course not. Take some comfort in that you just needed to let it out and he needed to hear it. Now that it's out and done with - who knows?
Gentle Hugs!
Trish
