the FASHION thread

Well, it would appear that I must be breaking every rule there is, but that's nothing new!!
Here's a new fashion rule: your new bookmark has to match your new tattoo (bookmark purchased today because, well, it matched my tattoo!!)
And, here's another: your shoes have to match your car (thanks to one of the ladies on another thread for the car picture!)
-
I wanna ride.
-
Dream, you can have the back seat on the second floor!!
-
Beth
You rock girl with banana curls... Yey!!! Number 17 when I voted
-
Kathi.. wonderful pics... I love that car or whatever it is.. Does that belong to you????????
-
Kathi, your tattoo is looking great! No scab, redness or anything? I've always seen other's who's new tats look very painful....
-
Beth, you're still at number 17. Post the message again after me in case people don't read all the previous ones. We gotta get you to the top!
-
Hi, Farila, sweetie!! I WISH that car belonged to me!! That would be completely awesome! But alas, it is a photo that another sister posted here on another thread in homage to my red high heels & I think it comes from one of those wonderful funny car races where entrants have to construct some crazy thing on wheels that will actually run. I don't know....I might have to do some research & see if I can find out who constructed that wondrous vehicle!
Barbe, luckily for me, most of the redness was actually gone in three days, and virtually all the redness was gone a week later. It's a tad over a week now & most of the peeling has finished, too. Now, if only I could recover that quickly and completely from the whole breast cancer experience.....
Beth, still at number 17. I've bookmarked the link so I can vote every day.
-
Kathi, you can vote a number of times a day even though the message says something else. When I log on after a couple hours I can vote again.
Still at 17 Beth!
-
Hey gals just checkin after many months hiatus. Got my new face...!
-
I seriously love you guys.... I'm thinking I may need to enlist the sisterhood, and just put a post in moving beyond to show the strength we have in numbers... I know there are only a few days left in the contest.
I haven't had a chance to catch up on any other threads. Tomorrow is the big party at work, and I am no longer off on Monday-- I'm training to learn another position, so that I can train a new girl to take over it... FUN
KK love that ride-- it's right up my alley!!!! Remember the phone that was shaped like a high heel?
-
Beth I just voted for you! I think your 16 now! BTW Beautiful photo, so pretty!
-
Beth, I just voted again & you're at 14!!
-
Beth .. You are at 14 stilll.. That in itself is great but we want you higher up...
-
Beth,
Lovely thread you started here..LOL. I wore alot of casual dress clothes while I was a secretary/ office work. After I had to quit due to cancer, I gradually stopped buying the more expensive, nice looking clothes and kinda went back to jeans, khakis and tshirts or casual top. Thanks to Aromasin and my inability to get off my butt like I used to..I have gained weight. I have never been bigger than a size 8 and now I am a size 12/14. I have no clue how to buy clothes to fit this new body. Either I look old as my mom , I look baggy or things look too tight. Tight was fine when I was an 8 but it doesnt work being 12/14. The only thing that is good about it is that now I actually have some boobs to fill out some tops I could never wear before becasue I was too flat LOL. Before, I could pick out an outfit in no time and now it takes me all day to find one. My shoes dont seem right for the clothes I now buy also. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Hugs Ladies, Mazy

-
I voted.... shes at #10
-
Same here. # 10.
-
Just voted & Bethie's at 8!!!
Welcome, Mazy! I can relate to the weight gain. I'm finally paring off a few pounds very slowly by eating fewer carbs & more salad, but it's a slow process & this is after putting on an extra 15-20 pounds over the past year. LOL about the boobs. That's the only advantage of the extra weight is that my uninvolved breast is a nice size at the moment. Not much left of the right one anyway. If I get another 5-10 pounds off, it'll probably disappear until I have nothing left but a nipple...and a scarred up one at that. Maybe I'll rethink recon at that point! Be a good reward for taking off the weight.
Hugs to all.
-
Beth you are number 8 now!!!! WOOOTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I voted again Beth...woohoo
-
Still at # 8.. I hope and pray you move up fast...
-
Still number 8 Beth!
-
I am making my ATHLETA order this week (FINALLY!!!) I'm off on Thursday, and I'm getting worried that Vail is 6 weeks away, and if anything is back ordered I will be screwed!!!
EEEEK.
Thank you for all of the votes. There's a really beautiful girl at number 1, but anything can happen over the next few days!!!
Today is my day off, but I have to work for a few hours-- BUT when I get home I cannot wait to tell you guys about the one hour power shop that I did the other day, and the deals I got on shoes and all the tops I got from INC.... I will take pictures and post them. Macy's is having a sale on shoes- buy 2 get 25% off, then buy 3 and get 30% etc... I hit the Michael Kors table and did quite well!!! I'll fill you girls in later.

Still at #8. Yah, she's got red hair, woo hoo. You are OUR sistah!
-
I just voted and you are still at 8 Beth. I am going to repost the link so we don't have to keep going back to page 56 to find the link to vote.

To win, Conair picks among the top 200 entries. It's their co. marketing decision. So while I think our good-lookin' Beth should stay amongst the top ten, she doesn't necessarily want to BE #1.

Well it's giving a score too, and I'm a keener and want to drive it higher!
