faith, ok you have made up my mind for me with those exquisite quilts and after socal's gorgeous flowers !!!! Let's declare today officially PINWHEEL DAY!!!!!
thank you so much for those incredible quilt images!!! it was just the boost i needed after exercising for one and a half hours in 2 different places today. I came home, sat at my computer with a bottle of cold water, half of a chocolate muffin and a fan directed on me, and i saw those quilts and all my energy has come back to me.
sahalie, thank you for talking about Big Sur and Hearst Castle and Carmel and all. Reading your words and those pics are as close as i can get to being there. I hope the smoke clears where you are and all the fires cease.
i am off to the box store to get a tiny box for my project and then i will come home and go looking for real estate for the sahalie/faith word picture library/museum. I am excited and i have a few good leads!
see you later.

FLORAL pinwheels to celebrate Lisa's weight loss:
-
Lisa, congrats on the weight loss. I've been told that weight lost gradually has a better chance of staying gone rather than a crash diet. I've been working on weight loss as well but its not easy. I never had a weight issue before I was diagnosed. Ever. So this is totally new to me. I think alot of mine is being thrown into menopause. The women in my family get the big apple belly once they go into menopause so I just got it a little earlier than I probably would have otherwise.

Oh purple ones. How pretty!
-
Okay, new puzzle:
What two neighboring West European nations produce most of the world's natural cork?
-
-
Friends, Lets have that tea! I got my Electric Wheelchair! I cant get it out of the house (no ramp)but it is so nice, Its all paid for and when I get my ramp I wont have to worry about getting weak and falling. I need to borrow those fans cause its going to be 94 or higher in Washington tomorrow. It will be a wish I was really at the beach day. Take care! All the wonderful people Dont quit til the fat lady sings. (watch out my lymphedema makes me the fat lady!) And I write music. Angel hugs to all, Debbie

Jasmine: we'll have to wait for Sahalie to show up -- with her sparkling brain.
In the meantime enjoy these colors:
