Thank you everyone I am stuffed from dinner and birthday cake.My daughter made me this decadent Mario Batali cake which I had to eat it was so good.So my healthy diet totaly went right out the window today. Oh well we need to celebrate our birthdays with gusto.Right Beachettes?

P.S. Kindergarten, those are indeed my acutal 'biological' grandchildren, from our recent visit together, earlier this month. They are the set that live in Ohio. They are the wonder-peeps of my older daughter.

My step-son's family is flying here/to FL for their spring break and meeting up with us the middle of next week at Daytona. So I have about 3 full days on the surf, in the sand, and LOTS of sun. This is the family that has the 3 boys and da mama bear is preggers again!!!

Thinking of you, MissyB, as you continue making the transition down here to the sunshine state. I know that your life is filled w boxes right now, but I know you'll have everything in order soon enough.

We did indeed return to the Open Air Arts Festival/Plein Air..... I learned they use the first term rather than the second -- as they have a wider array of artists than just the more traditional painters for whom the second term is more applicable.

Anyhow: LOVED it!!!

Marlegal, I was looking for so long at the rose that my energy-saver dimmed my screen! I have the most filthy mind of anyone I know and I STILL didn't see anything sexual!!! Wow, I bow to a higher power!!

Well that's settled! I just asked my DH what it looked like to him and from 8 feet away (squinting at the screen) he said "It looks like a sleeve with a button"!!!

Are you filty ladies thinking of vulvas or breasts? There must be some subliminal message there, but it's either not subliminal enough, or too deep for me!

Phew, Barbe I'm glad to read you are returning back to normal.   I can't imagine the emotions of today.

Edit to add~I didn't think it looked filthy, I thought it looked pretty.  I'll never look at a rose or a ladybug in the same way again marlegal.

For newbies, this is a picture of me in Louisiana, meeting our very own OOOOGAMOOOGA Coonie-woonie...... and that makes us 'winners' for life!!! (This was taken last year in January, about 3 or 4 days before my BILAT surgery in Ohio. She held me up. She held me together. She was amazing in every possible, conceivable regard. For that I owe her a great debt of gratitude.)

This woman has a heart as big as a bayou & is the best gift you can possibly have -- to meet her in person, hear her lilting voice and get a gentle hug.
