Lovely hummers. The flowers in the first picture are nearly as fascinating as the bird.
-
How does he do that? Just lovely Mum!
-
amazing photos Mum..high five to your husband
-
I absolutely love and miss the hummers on the west coast. (They only migrate through briefly here in TN) It makes me think of all the naked coral trees in San Diego, too. Those are breathtaking trees, that bloom on bare branches with bright orange-red flowers that hummers love. Gorgeous photos, Mum.
Lisa, are the coral trees in bloom right now? When I was growing up, there was a bottlebrush tree outside my window, and the hummers would nest there. They make perfect, egg cup shaped nests.
-
Bianca. I am not sure where my hummngbirds are nesting...but we have alot fighting
over my feeder...
is this the tree you mean??
-
looks like bleeding heart flowers altho I am not a flora identifer person-one should never listen to me about such things. Meece??????????????????
-
YES!!! So beautiful, Lisa. Thank you! They are so stunning! I haven't seen those trees much outside of SD. I just love the contrast between the bare branches and the blooms.
-
Magnolias bloom like that too Lisa. I love them!!! My first DH used to call them Kleenex trees!! WTF??? He said because when they dropped their flowers it looked like Kleenex on the ground....what an idiot...I should have known then!
-
LOL!

CHABBA!!!!! That one took my breath away.
Julz -- your set took my breath, in a whole different category.
Loved the hummingbird. Meecie, did you tak that one??
Here's the photo taken of our little quintet after our amazing lunch together in Tampa this morning. From left to right: BarbaraA (yes, our beachie Barbara, then Choca, Silka, me/Faithie and TerryCarolyn: choca, Silka and TC are all ol' time chatters from way back when.)
Silka is spending a couple of months from snow-covered Indy, bunking in at Choca's place. This is the first chance I've had to meet her.
Our BarbaraA is a teeny tiny teenie wonder. I couldn't believe it. I had pictured her as a towering tall gal -- LOL. I had NO idea. She hardly rates as petite..... the time flew by soooooo fast!
-
MUCH better pic, Faith. A laugh riot was had by all.
-
Julz, I noticed you left the scenery until the last few pics.
-
Okay, faithie. You are the tallest and if Barbara is teeny, then how tall are you?
-
Hehehehehehe!

It's been over a year since I have seen her last.....gonna have to get her back north for another meet up again! I am glad you all had a good lunch!
Chabba....I am loving your pics.....the sunset colors are so different in cooler weather!
Faith......So I got a little more color in those CHEEKSSSSSS!
Hahahahaha! You all looked so Great today! It's fun to get out with the Gals!!!!
Meece......The scenery was Grand.....but it's hard to find those pics....they are either getting shy (cough cough) or they are WAY TOO liberated!!!! % )- for it to be posted here! As for being little if I was standing in front of Barbara you could see her face probably!!! I am under the 5 ' mark!
The Scenery is left to your Imaginations!
